When using a telephone as a tabletop type, the handset/receiver base of the phone is normally configured to be horizontal or slightly inclined, so it is difficult to place the handset/receiver stably on the handset/receiver base. However, if the phone is used as a wall-mounted phone, the handset/receiver part of the phone is vertical or slopes close to vertical, so if the phone is in its original shape, the handset/receiver cannot be placed on the handset/receiver stand. It is not possible to do so, and some kind of handset holding means is required.

As the above-mentioned conventional handset holding means, for example, there is a telephone set in which a projection is fixedly provided on the lower side wall surface of the handset stand on which the handset is placed, and a recess is provided in the handset portion of the handset with which the projection engages. According to such a structure, when the phone is used as a tabletop type, the protrusion is not only useless, but in some cases, when the handset is lifted, the protrusion may be inserted into the recess provided in the handset. It can even become an obstacle when making a call, such as getting caught or when placing the handset, the protrusion may get caught on the handset and prevent it from being placed correctly on the handset stand.

In addition, in order to reduce the above-mentioned disadvantages when used as a tabletop type, the protrusion is made smaller and the recess provided in the handset and receiver is also formed shallowly. However, when such a phone is used as a wall-mounted type, vibrations may cause the phone body to The handset can easily come off, making it impossible to hold it stably.

As shown in FIG. 1, a hook switch button (not shown) is attached to the receiver mounting portion 11, which is formed in a concave shape in the receiver/transmitter stand portion of the housing 1, from the bottom surface 12 to the lower wall surface 13. A space 14 is formed, and a fitting space 15 for the transmitter/receiver hanging member 2 shown in FIG. 2 is formed in a substantially central portion of the lower wall surface 13 in a continuous state with the mounting space 14.
A pair of guide protrusions 16 are formed on both inner side walls of this fitting space 15 (side surfaces of the attachment portion 19 of the handset/receiver hanging member 2) to guide the installation of the handset/receiver hanging member 2 and to define the attachment position. has been done. The guide protrusion 16 does not extend over the entire side wall of the fitting space 15, but is cut in the middle.

The dimensional relationship between the housing 1 and the handset hanging member 2 is as follows. That is, the height a of the embolus portion 22 is set equal to the height c of the attachment portion 19, and the height b of the projection portion 21 is set longer than the height c of the attachment portion 19. Further, in the protrusion 21 and the embolization part 22, the mounting grooves 23 and 24 are provided in an open shape toward the distal end, leaving a height e on each side surface, and the height e is set in the mounting part 19. The length d is set equal to the length d of the portion beyond the reach of the guide protrusion 16 provided on the side surface.

If the telephone is a tabletop type, before fitting the decorative panel 3 into the counterbore 17 of the case 1, insert the transmitter/receiver hanging member 2 into the fitting space 15 of the case 1 in its embolization part 22.
With the guide protrusion 16 facing upward, the mounting groove 24 is aligned with the guide protrusion 16, and the plug is fitted in such a direction that the embolus part 22 comes into the fitting space 15. After that, when the decorative panel 3 is fitted into the counterbore 17, the transmitter/receiver hanging member 2 is fixed between the guide protrusion 16 and the upper end surface 31 of the decorative panel 3 due to the above-mentioned dimensional relationship, and the housing is fixed. The embolization part 2 is placed on the handset mounting part 11 of 1.
2 does not protrude. That is, the upper surface of the embolus part 22 forms a horizontal plane that is on the same level as the lower wall surface 13 of the handset rest part 11, and when the telephone is used as a tabletop type, the handset hanging member 2 is placed in the fitting space. It is used as a plug member to fill the 15. Further, at this time, the protrusion 21 of the handset hanging member 2 is hidden inside the housing 1 by the decorative panel 3 and is not visible from the outside.

If the telephone is wall-mounted, before fitting the decorative panel 3 into the counterbore 17 of the housing 1, place the handset hanging member 2 into the fitting space 15 of the housing 1 with its protrusion 21 facing upward. The guide protrusion 16 is aligned with the mounting groove 23, and the guide protrusion 16 is fitted in such a direction that the protrusion 21 comes into the fitting space 15. The above-mentioned protrusion 21 protrudes from the lower wall surface 19 of the receiver mounting portion 11 of No. 1 . The length of the protrusion is "b-c" from the above-mentioned dimensional relationship. When the telephone is used as a wall-mounted telephone in this manner, the handset/receiver hanging member 2 fills the fitting space 15 and also partially fills the fitting space 15 (the portion with the dimensions “b-c” above).
is used as a member that protrudes and hooks and supports the handset/receiver 4. Further, at this time, the embolization part 22 of the handset hanging member 2 is hidden inside the housing 1 by the decorative panel 3 and is not visible from the outside.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the protrusion for hanging the handset comes out in the handset mounting space only when the phone is used as a wall-mount type, so the phone can be used as a tabletop type. In this case, there are no unnecessary protrusions, so the handset hanging member does not become an obstacle to the operation of raising and lowering the handset. In addition, when using the phone as a wall-mount type, the height of the protrusion for hanging the handset/receiver can be set to a sufficient height since there is no need to consider the above-mentioned case of using the phone as a table-top type. This provides a handset/receiver hanging structure that does not easily dislodge due to vibrations, etc., and ensures reliable operation of the switch when used as a portable telephone. As described above, the present invention has various advantages and its effects are extremely large.
