Claims (1)
- エンジンにおけるオイルパンの後端部とクラツ
チハウジングの前端部との間にシールプレートが
挾持されるシールプレート装置であつて、上記シ
ールプレートの下端縁と対向するクラツチハウジ
ングおよびオイルパンのうち少なくとも一方には
凹状溝部が形成されており、上記シールプレート
には、その下端縁上部に上記凹状溝部とクラツチ
ハウジング内とを連通する第１切欠部と、下端縁
下部に上記凹状溝部と大気とを連通する第２切欠
部とが各々左右にオフセツトして設けられている
とともに、上記第２切欠部の大気側連通部は走行
風により発生する負圧が作用する位置に設定され
ていることを特徴とするエンジンのシールプレー
ト装置。
