排気口とを有する多孔質光フアイバ母材の製造装
置において、一端は上記バーナ機構の吹き出し口
を内包するよう上記マツフルに接続されるととも
に他端は上記排出口と接続され且つ上記光フアイ
バ母材の一部を内包しうる開口部を有するダクト
を設け、このダクト内の上記吹き出し口の周縁に
空気または不活性ガスを取り入れる給気口を設け
たことを特徴とする多孔質光フアイバ母材の製造
装置。 (2) ダクトの横断面形状が円形または矩形であ
る実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項記載の多孔質光
フアイバ母材の製造装置。 (3) ダクトの材質が、SiO2,Al2O3,
SiCまたはSiNのいずれかもしくはこれらを
組合せたものである実用新案登録請求の範囲第1
項あるいは第2項記載の多孔質光フアイバ母材の
製造装置。 (4) ダクトを組立て式とした実用新案登録請求
の範囲第1項、第2項あるいは第3項記載の多孔
質光フアイバ母材の製造装置。 (5) ダクト内のバーナ機構の吹き出し口の周縁
に設けられた給気口にガラスまたはフツ素系樹脂
