体に形成すると共に、この多孔ブロツク体をフレ
ーム枠で固定して多孔ブロツク体ユニツトに構成
し、このユニツトの上面に水を供給してユニツト
内に落水させながら該ユニツトの厚み方向に空気
を通過させる加湿器であつて、 該短冊状波板の波の稜線の方向を該ユニツトの
厚みの方向とし、 該ユニツトの使用状態において風上側から風下
側に向けての、前記の第一の短冊状波板の波の稜
線が該板の幅方向(長手方向と直角方向)となす
上向き角度をθA、同じく第二の短冊状波板のそ
れをθBとしたときに、 θA≠θBで且つθA+θB>0 但し、θAまたはθBの何れが一方が零または
負であつてもよい、 の関係を満足するように、該短冊状波板に波を
