[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention is configured such that when the volume adjuster is at or near the minimum volume position, the volume is increased to a certain set level by applying a boost signal. The present invention relates to a volume control circuit for audio equipment such as a radio receiver having a traffic information receiving function.

Conventional radio receivers and the like that have a volume increase function using a boost signal do not have an electronic polyurethane as a volume variable element, and use a volume adjuster (variable resistor) as is. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 7, the audio signal is supplied to the power amplifier via the volume adjuster 1. Furthermore, during boosting, the value of RE is set so that the output PL is obtained when the volume adjuster 1 is at the minimum volume position, as shown in FIG. 8, by turning off the transistor QSb'. Further, when the volume adjuster 1 is gradually adjusted in the MAX direction, the volume changes smoothly and there is no discomfort.

With the conventional device shown in Jitsugan S4-75555, it is possible to change the volume, but even if you adjust the volume adjuster above the desired boost setting level, the setting level does not change, and the desired volume cannot be reached. This is impossible by realizing change characteristics.

The boost amount setting resistor sets the volume level when the volume controller is set to KIN, and the feedback circuit prevents the control voltage of the electronic polyurethane from rising above the set volume level, thereby keeping the set volume constant.

In this case, boost signal transistor 2 (QJ) and boost transistor 5 (Qn) are in the ON state, and boost amount setting resistor 7CRs) is set to transistor 6 ((lB)
This is thought to be due to the emitter-collector resistance. Therefore, the electronic polyurethane 60 control voltage is applied to the level shift resistor 9 (R1).

It is obtained by inputting a divided voltage of 1o (Rt) and the resistance value (Rr) of the volume adjuster 1 to a voltage correction subtraction buffer circuit 5 using an operational amplifier. Therefore, KI the volume adjuster 1.
By changing from N to MAX direction, the curve α in Figure 2
You can change the volume like a curve.

However, in the circuit example shown in Fig. 1, when the volume adjuster is changed from KIN to MAX, the volume at boost 011 is at a position slightly below the set level PL, as shown by the curve in Fig. 2. In this case, when the boost is turned on, the volume becomes higher than the set level pL, causing a sense of discomfort.

Next, the case when the booth is turned on will be described. In this case, the resistor 7 (RB) is set to a value corresponding to a volume larger than the set level PL. In the boost ON (boost signal “L”) state, transistors 2 (QJ) and 5 (QJ
) becomes the OFF state, a divided voltage according to the above equation (2) is generated, and the control voltage of the electronic polyurethane 6 is applied, but as described above, by setting the resistor 7 (RB) to be larger than the set level pL, Control voltage V corresponding to set level PL
It becomes L.

Next, connect the feedback resistor 8 with VL corresponding to the setting level PLK.
When feedback transistor 4 (Qz) is adjusted to turn on, transistor 5 (Qi) connected to the collector of transistor 4 (QL) also turns on. Therefore, resistance 7 (R
The current flowing in a) is shunted to the transistor 6 (QB) to change the 1-divided voltage, and the control voltage is set to VL. Therefore, if the volume adjuster 1 is at the set level p or lower when the boost is turned on, the feedback circuit 2
0 keeps the set level pL constant. Volume adjuster 1
is higher than the set level.

The transistor 5 (Qx) is always in the ON state, and therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, the volume change characteristics are the same as those when the boost is 011, and a characteristic that does not give an unnatural feeling can be obtained.
