Claims (1)
- 主燃焼室の縁部付近に渦流室からの噴口を開口
させた渦流室式デイーゼル機関の燃焼室において
、ピストン頂面に、その上方から見て渦流室から
主燃焼室への噴流の中心線上に位置するように第
一の拡散促進部を島状に隆起させるとともに、こ
の第一の拡散促進部を挟んで噴口と相対する位置
に、その頂点が噴流に対向して突出した外郭形状
を有する第二の拡散促進部を突設し、第一の拡散
促進部の噴流と対向する側の外殻形状は第二の拡
散促進部よりも大きな頂角をもつて突出させ、か
つピストン頂面の第一の拡散促進部およびこれを
囲む凹部をセラミツク材で形成したことを特徴と
する渦流室式デイーゼル機関の燃焼室。
