Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently perform gas-liquid contact without using a pump by utilizing a moisture absorptive material capable of wicking up deodorization liquid and forming a wet contact face and bringing odorous particles introduced with a fan into contact therewith to deodorize them. CONSTITUTION:Deodorization liquid 3 stored in a casing is wicked up with a moisture absorptive material 1 such as cotton linter and odor 8 introduced with a fan 2 is brought into gas-liquid contact with the moisture absorptive material 1 via a suction port 12 and a prefilter 4 and the odorous particles are deodorized and thereby exhaust 9 is obtained. By such a way, efficient gas-liquid contact is performed without using a pump and a nozzle, etc., and deodorization efficiency is raised.

Indoor deodorizing devices, which have seen an increase in marketability in recent years, are generally dry filter type devices that incorporate activated carbon, etc., but deodorizing devices are continuously emitted from toilet bowls for cats kept in apartments, etc. , bad odors, etc. can be removed only by highly efficient deodorizing equipment located as close as possible to the source of the bad odor.Currently, there are no devices that are satisfactory in terms of performance, price, cost, etc. There is a need for a powerful deodorizer that can be easily used indoors, and the present invention is a device that can solve these problems. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a low-cost, high-efficiency deodorizing device that is a wet type but enables gas-liquid contact without using a liquid feed pump or a spray nozzle.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, without using a complicated mechanism, which is a disadvantage of the above-mentioned wet deodorizing device, it is possible to sufficiently moisten the gas-liquid contact surface by using a material with excellent hygroscopicity such as cotton linter. However, moisture-absorbed cotton linters have very poor ventilation, requiring ventilation fans with high pressure-feeding performance, and the fans also generate high noise, making it difficult to solve these problems. It became necessary.

(1) A deodorizing liquid is placed in a sealed casing 5, and the odor 8 introduced by the fan 2 is removed from the air intake port 1.
2, and after dust is removed by a pre-filter 4, the moisture absorbent material 1 is repeatedly brought into contact with the moist surface of the moisture absorbent material 1, which has a large number of small holes, and passes through. At this time, the airflow generates a very complicated vortex as shown in Figure 3, so the contact surface mechanism is not the normally used dense filtration state, but a mesh-like one with a hole diameter of 2 mm to 5 mm. By creating a structure with good ventilation that actively generates swirl, it becomes possible to use a fan that rotates as low as possible.

(2) If the above-mentioned improvement in air permeability causes a decrease in gas-liquid contact, or if you want to further increase the deodorizing ability, consider a structure that increases the chances of gas-liquid contact, such as using a multi-stage moisture-absorbing contact surface. By doing so, it is possible to sufficiently adsorb malodorous particles on the liquid surface or perform reactive deodorization by passing through the -stroke.

(3) Since moisture evaporates on the contact surface due to ventilation, a water inlet can be provided or a tank that can be easily attached and detached can be used to replenish the moisture.

(4) The amount of liquid in the tank can be determined by using a partially transparent container, a liquid level gauge, or by electrically detecting the water level to replenish the deodorizing liquid and adjust the amount of water supplied.

(5) The contact surface of the moisture absorbing material is subject to deterioration, so by having a structure that is easy to attach and detach, it is possible to maintain performance by replacing it.

<Operation of the invention> (1) As described above, the present invention has an extremely simple structure, and is an ultra-compact, lightweight, portable deodorizer that can be installed as close as possible to the source of the odor and not be adversely affected by indoor air currents. Easy to hang.

(2) Furthermore, if the structure having the high deodorizing performance described in configuration (2) of the invention is installed at the source of bad odor, all of the atmosphere is taken in through the intake port and passed through the contact surface before the odor is scattered. This makes it possible to easily achieve a nearly odorless state.

Good results can be obtained even if the moisture absorbent material 1 is long horizontally and folded in a zigzag pattern and placed in the moisture absorbing adhesion/removal case, but as shown in Figures 1 and 2, it has many slightly larger holes. They are open plate-shaped, and even if you adjust the number of plates depending on the odor, you can easily achieve near-perfect gas-liquid contact.

The flow of odor when passing through the moisture absorbing material 1 becomes a very complicated vortex as shown in Figure 3, so the contact surface, which contains sufficient moisture, has a high efficiency in adsorbing odor particles. Unlike the adsorption power of dry filters using activated carbon etc.
- It is easy to deodorize to almost odorless in just one pass.
