- 誘電体材料よりなる誘電体基板と、この誘電体
基板の主面上に形成された第１、第２および第３
の沿面放電用電極と、これら第１、第２および第
３の沿面放電用電極に夫々接続される第１リード
端子、中継端子および第２のリード端子と、上記
第１および第２の沿面放電用電極に形成され、所
定の沿面放電距離を隔てて対向する第１の沿面放
電用電極対と、上記第２および第３の沿面放電用
電極に形成され、上記と同じ所定の沿面放電距離
を隔てて対向する第２の沿面放電用電極対と、上
記第１リード端子および中継端子に形成され、空
間放電距離ｇ１を隔てて対向する第１の空間放電
用電極対と、上記中継端子および第２リード端子
に形成され、空間放電距離ｇ２を隔てて対向する
第２の空間放電用電極対とを備え、上記第１の空
間放電用電極対の空間放電距離ｇ１の大きさと上
記第２の空間放電用電極対の空間放電距離ｇ２の
大きさとを異ならせたことを特徴とする放電素子
