動車の燃料タンクを説明するための図であり、第
１図はその断面平面図、第２図はその断面側面図
、第３図は従来の燃料タンクを示す断面側面図で
ある。 図において、１は燃料タンク本体、１ｃは底壁
、１ｄは天井壁、３はサブタンク、４はメインパ
イプ、６は吸込口、８は波立ち防止板、９はリタ
ーンパイプ、９ａは吐出口である。

Claims (1)
- 燃料タンク本体内の底部にサブタンクを備え、
該サブタンク内に、燃料をエンジンに供給するメ
インパイプの吸込口を配置するとともに、余剰燃
料を返送するリターンパイプの吐出口を配置して
なる自動車の燃料タンクにおいて、上記燃料タン
ク本体内の底壁と天井壁との間に、複数の燃料連
通孔が形成された波立ち防止板を立設して該燃料
タンク本体内を仕切るとともに、上記リターンパ
イプを該燃料タンク本体内の燃料に浸漬可能に配
管し、該浸漬部分を上記波立ち防止板に溶接した
ことを特徴とする自動車の燃料タンク。
