  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 電柱に架設されている複数の架空通信ケー
    ブルのうちのいずれかの架空通信ケーブルが、該
    電柱のところで分岐箱を介して分岐されている架
    空通信ケーブルの分岐部において、前記分岐箱は
    その内部に複数の分岐ユニツトを備え、前記各分
    岐ユニツトの入力側通信線差込孔と分岐出力側通
    信線差込孔とはそれぞれ同じ側で水平向きにそれ
    ぞれ設けられていることを特徴とする架空通信ケ
    ーブルの分岐部。 (2) 前記分岐箱内は該分岐箱の上部から回転自
    在に吊り下げ支持された中蓋により表側と裏側の
    各室に仕切られ、前記中蓋の中央には前記両室を
    連通させる開口部が設けられ、前記表側の室内で
    前記各分岐ユニツトは前記中蓋に支持されている
