- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ステアリングシヤフトの先端のボス部に取付け
られたステアリングホイールの中心部に配設され
前記ボス部の前方を覆うカバーパツドと、このカ
バーパツドの内部には断面コの字状に形成された
前面部材と平板状の取付面部材とにより断面ロの
字状に形成されたエネルギー吸収部材とが装着さ
れたステアリングホイールのエネルギー吸収構造
において、 このエネルギー吸収部材の取付面部材よりカバ
ーパツド取付用の取付部を延設すると共に、この
取付部の剛性を前面部材の剛性より低くしたこと
を特徴とするステアリングホイールのエネルギー
吸収構造。
