It is widely practiced to raise seedlings.

A conveyor for transporting seedling-growing containers is placed below the container, and the bed soil is put into the container, compressed to a desired hardness, and the top surface of the container is leveled.

なければならない等の不便がある。 During the soil filling process, an excess amount of bed soil is always supplied to ensure that there is no shortage of soil, and a certain amount of soil is packed. As a result, they fall below the transfer conveyor and accumulate or scatter in the workplace. If this surplus bed soil is left as it is, it will be stepped on and harden, making it unusable as bed soil and having to be thrown away, so during work, we always collect surplus bed soil with a scoop, etc. , This required manpower, and the bed soil collected with great effort was also used as pebbles, clods, and dirt from the workshop.
It is inconvenient that it contains foreign substances such as wood chips, so it must be sieved and reused.

た。 The creator of this device did various research in order to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks of soil filling, efficiently collect surplus bed soil, and create a collection device that could be reused as is. A receiving gutter whose upper part is wider than the width of the transfer conveyor and slopes inward toward the bottom is provided, and the upper surface of the transfer conveyor is provided with a gutter that is lower than the side wall of the seedling growing container and has approximately the same width as the lower bottom of the receiving gutter. The locking fin is fixed in a direction perpendicular to the transfer direction, and the locking fin is configured to lock the seedling-raising container on the sending side of the seedling-raising container, and to act as a scraper by contacting the lower bottom of the receiving gutter on the burr side. Settled.

The example shown in the figure shows a case where a belt feeder is used as the bed soil supply device, and a hopper 2 is provided above the machine frames 1 and 1 on both sides to feed the bed soil 3, and an opening is provided below the hopper 2. A belt 4 is placed so as to cover the belt and stretched between the pulleys 5 and 5' to form a belt feeder.
The pulleys 5, 5' are rotatably attached to support rods 6, 6' installed upright on the machine frames 1, 1, and the belt 4 is rotated in the direction of the arrow by power (not shown).
The bed soil 3 is fed out with a uniform thickness from the feeding port 7.

A transfer belt 10 is stretched between them and rotated in the direction of the arrow in conjunction with the belt 4. The pulleys 9, 9' may be provided as long as they are located in the middle between the machine frames 1, 1 and are sufficient to hang the narrow belt 10. The belt 10 only needs to have a narrow width, and has a large number of locking fins 11 fixed on its surface at regular intervals in a direction perpendicular to the running direction using fixing fittings 11' or the like. The spacing between the locking fins 11 is preferably such that the seedling raising container 12 placed therebetween is continuous through the locking fins 11, and the height thereof is higher than the side wall of the seedling raising container 12 during the leveling work described later. Since it interferes with the height, it should be made lower than that, and the width shape also has limitations as described below. In addition, although the drawing shows an example in which the seedling raising container 12 is made of a paper tube assembly and is expanded on the unfolding and fixing table 13, if the seedling growing container 12 is like a seedling box, the unfolding and fixing table 13 is omitted and the locking is done. The fins 11 may be in direct contact with the seedling growing container 12. To convey the seedling growing container 12, a large number of roller shafts 14, 14... are provided in parallel to each other between the machine frames 1, 1, and belt guide rollers 15, 15... are provided between the shafts 14, 14... Guide rollers 16, 16... are provided on both sides thereof so that they can rotate freely,
The expansion and fixing table 13 is pushed by the locking fins 11 so that it can move thereon. Therefore, when the seedling growing container 12 is placed on the expansion and fixing plate 13 from the direction of the drive pulley 9 and placed between the locking fins 11, 11, it is transported by the rotation of the transfer belt 10, and the belt 4 of the belt feeder interlocks with this. The bed soil 3 falls from the end of the container 12 and enters the seedling growing container 12. At this time, excess bed soil 3 is supplied to the seedling raising container 12, and is heaped up and leveled by an amount that takes into account the amount of compaction by the spreading device 17 that extends between the support rods 6, 6. In this state, the seedling growing container 12 that comes out from the rear of the belt 4 is compressed to a desired firmness by a pressure roll 19 provided between the support rods 18 installed upright on the machine frames 1, 1.
Further, it is leveled by a subsequent leveling device 20 such as a leveling brush or scraper.

するのがよい。 During the soil filling, compacting, and leveling work, surplus bed soil 3 falls from the seedling growing container 12, so in order to collect this, a receiving gutter 21 is provided below the burr side of the transfer belt 10 in this invention. . The gutter 21 is fixed to the upper ends of the machine frames 1 and 1 on both sides, has an open upper surface wider than the width of the seedling container 12, slopes inward as it goes downward, and is shaped like a belt. When the locking fin 11 fixed to the belt feeder 10 rotates, the tip thereof should be able to come into sliding contact with at least the inner bottom surface, and its length should be at least longer than the position of the leveling device 20 from the position where the floor soil of the belt feeder falls. There is. For this reason, it is preferable that the horizontal length and shape of the locking fin 11 be a rectangular shape having the inner width of the lower bottom of the receiving gutter 21, or a width and shape that can be inscribed on the side surface of the receiving gutter 21.

る。 With the above configuration, the fallen surplus bed soil 3 collects on the bottom surface of the receiving gutter 21, is further collected by the movement of the locking fin 11, and is discharged from the open end of the receiving gutter 21, but does not reach the end of the receiving gutter 21. Since a bed soil storage tank 22 is arranged, all of the soil will be collected therein. This invention is made as in the above example, but the transfer belt 10 is made into a chain conveyor,
It is free to attach a brush to the tip of the locking fin 11 or change the belt feeder system to a bed soil supply roll system.Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 4, one roll of the bed soil supply belt 4 can be made thicker. It is also possible to make it so that it can come into contact with the seedling growing container 12 moving downward, and to suppress it with the belt 4.

とすることができる利点がある。 When soil is packed using the device of this invention, all the excess bed soil from the soil filling, compacting and leveling process will fall into the receiving gutter 21, but the transfer belt 1
Since the falling distance between 0 and the receiving gutter 21 is short, the proportion of dust that forms is small, and the receiving gutter 21 is closed on both sides and the bottom, and the upper surface is partially closed by the deployable fixing plate 13, so that excess bed soil is not trapped. There is very little scattering outside, making the work sanitary. In addition, the bed soil collected in the bed soil storage tank 22 is different from that which has fallen into the workplace, and does not contain pebbles, clods, wood chips, etc., and has not been compacted, so it can be returned to the hopper 2 for reuse. Moreover, since the burr side of the locking fin 11 is used to collect surplus soil, there is an advantage that no special equipment or drive source is required and the device can be made at low cost.
