Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 従来、電卓の数字表示器に於ては、図１の様な７セグメ
ントのパターンが用いられてきたが、近年コンピュータ
ーの普及に連れて電卓に於ても１６進数を表示する場合
が出てきた。１６進数の表示は、０．１，２．３．４．
５．６．７．８．９、Ａ、Ｂ、Ｃ，Ｄ、Ｅ、Ｆというよ
うに、ローマ字を加えて表す事が一般的である。先のパ
ターンを用いてこれらを表すと、図２の様になるが、Ｂ
とＤだけ小文字で表さねばならないという欠点があった
（ＢとＤは大文字で表すと８．０のパターンと区別でき
なくなる為、）。
そこでセグメントを２つ増やして、図３の様なパターン
を用いれば１６進数の数字を結局図４の様に全て大文字
で表示できて便利である。
