As shown in the figure, it consists of a mirror body 1 and a stay 2, and the mirror body 1 is attached to a roof rail 3, which is a part of the vehicle body, via the stay 2.
Since such an inside back mirror is used to ensure rear visibility, the mirror body 1 is lowered by the stay 2 to near the eye level of the driver A, and the front window glass 4 is lowered. Located near the top, a gap B was formed between the mirror body 1 and the roof rail 3. On the side of such an inside back mirror, a sun visor 6 that blocks light from the sun 5 is installed on the roof rail 3.
It is rotatably provided.

The incidence of light C is unavoidable, and the glare of this light C makes it difficult to see in front of the vehicle.
Additionally, there was a problem in that the area around the mirror was bright, making it difficult to see the rear inside the mirror.

いる。 This idea was devised by focusing on the problems of the conventional mirror. The main body of the mirror, which is attached to the car body via a stay and placed in the front part of the passenger compartment, has an opening at the top. A storage space is formed, and a shielding plate for shielding the upper side of the mirror body from light is housed in the storage space so as to be freely visible through the opening, and further, a state in which the shielding plate projects from the mirror body is controlled. It is an object of the present invention to solve the above-mentioned problems by providing an inside back mirror with a shielding plate that is provided with means for maintaining a light shielding state.

板13の上部に穿設されている。 In the mirror body 10, a mirror 12 is fitted into a mirror body 11, and a shielding plate 13 for blocking light is provided in a storage space formed in the mirror body 10. The shielding plate 13 is made of a light shielding material and has an area slightly smaller than the mirror 12, and both upper and lower ends 13a and 13b are T-shaped.
This upper end portion 13a is provided with a notch portion 13c, and is freely retractable from an opening portion 11a provided at the upper portion of the mirror body 11. Note that the width of the lower end portion 13b is larger than the width of the opening portion 11a. The tips of two intersecting wire springs 14 are in contact with the bottom surface of the lower end portion 13b of this shielding plate 13. This wire spring 14 is attached to a pin 11b provided at the bottom of the mirror body 11, and always urges the shielding plate 13 upward. In this embodiment, a light shielding state maintaining means is configured to maintain the protruding state of the shielding plate 13 by biasing the shielding plate 13 upward with the wire spring 14. Also, mirror body 1
A rotatable locking piece 15 is provided at the upper end of the shielding plate 13, and a locking hole 13d into which the locking piece 15 is locked is bored in the upper part of the shielding plate 13.

く、安全な運転を続ける。 Next, the action will be explained. While driving the vehicle, when the light C of the sun 5 is not dazzling, the shielding plate 13 is connected to the wire spring 14.
Push down against the biasing force until the wire spring 14 is in a substantially horizontal state as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG.
The locking piece 15 is rotated to lock into the locking hole 13d, and the shielding plate 13 is stored in the mirror body 10. When the light from the sun 5 becomes dazzling due to the setting of the sun, etc., the driver A uses the sun visor 6 and rotates the locked locking piece 15 to release the lock. Then, the shielding plate 13 is pushed up by the wire spring 14, and the lower end portion 13b comes into contact with the upper part of the mirror body 11, and the raising of the shielding plate 13 is stopped, and as shown in FIG. With the stay 2 inserted into the space, the gap B between the mirror body 10 and the roof rail 3 is closed by the shielding plate 13. In this state, the light C that conventionally entered through the gap B is blocked by the shielding plate 13,
In addition, the light C that is about to enter from the side of the inside rearview mirror is blocked by the sun visor 6, so that the driver A can see forward without being hindered by the light C.
Further, the driver can continue driving safely without being hindered from viewing the rear view of the mirror 12.

The release button 16 is bent at a substantially right angle, has a convex portion 16a formed therein, and is rotatable about a shaft 17 provided in the longitudinal direction of the mirror body 11. The protruding portion 16a of the release button 16 can be freely engaged with and detached from the locking hole 13d of the shielding plate 13.

用上有益な効果を発揮する。 As explained above, according to this idea,
A shielding plate is provided in the storage space of the mirror body so that it can appear and retracted, and a shading state maintaining means is provided to maintain the protruding state of the shielding plate. When the sun's rays are bright, the shielding plate can be protruded. In addition to being able to block the light rays, when the light is not dazzling, by storing the shielding plate, the view above the mirror body can be secured, which is a useful effect in practical terms.
