光学系を介して受光手段に導く光源並びに反射光
学系からなる露光走査手段と、装置本体内の空気
を装置本体外に排気する排気手段と、該ホームポ
ジシヨンにおいて該露光走査手段により露光され
る検査用反射部材と、該受光手段からの画像信号
に基づき該結像光学系又は該反射光学系が結露状
態であるか否かを判定し、該光源及び該排気手段
を駆動制御する制御手段とを備え、該制御手段は
該結像光学系及び該反射光学系が非結露状態であ
るときに該検査用反射部材を露光して得られた光
量を基準光量値として予め設定する基準光量値設
定部と、該露光走査手段がホームポジシヨンに達
すると該光源及び排気手段を駆動させると共に、
該検査用反射部材を露光して得られた実光量値と
該基準光量値とを比較し、該実光量値が所定範囲
内になると該光源及び排気手段の駆動を停止させ
る判定部とから構成したことを特徴とする画像読
