(19, 87) ). It has also been reported that linalool is effective in exterminating spider mites, which are agricultural pests (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 61-83103). However, even when these agents were tested for exterminating indoor mites, their extermination effects were not satisfactory.

Until now, it was thought that mites were harmless, but dust mites and dust mites that live in houses, as well as the black mites that prey on these mites, have caused problems such as allergies and cavities, and now mite damage has become an advanced problem. As the country enters a new phase, these problems are increasing year by year and tend to become more and more serious. Organophosphorus insecticides, carbamate insecticides, pyrethroids, etc., which have traditionally been used to control pests, have been tried to control these mites, but none of them have been recognized as effective in controlling them. The current situation is that there is no such thing. Furthermore, the use of organic phosphorus and carbamate insecticides is regulated due to problems such as residual accumulation and environmental pollution, and some of them are no longer practical. Furthermore, the safety of insecticides for ticks has become a problem, with acute toxicity caused by insecticides for ticks (deaths of infants, decreased vision of family members, confusion of consciousness, etc.), and complaints of sore throats caused by sheets for ticks. etc. are happening. Pyrethroid insecticides are increasingly used due to their relatively high safety, but resistant mites and other disorders have emerged in some cases, so insecticides that are practically effective against white mites and house dust mites are currently being used. Currently, no drugs are approved. Under these circumstances, there is a demand for the development of new acaricides that have excellent acaricidal properties and are safe for humans, livestock, and fish.

The preparation method may be based on the fact that the active ingredient of the present invention is liquid and soluble in various organic solvents, and techniques known in the art may be used in consideration of its properties. For example, to prepare microcapsules, e-menthon may be added to a solution of cyclodextrin or other clathrate forming agent, and the solvent may be removed. In addition, the spray agent is prepared by diluting e-menthone with a small amount of organic solvent as necessary.
This can be made using a liquefied gas propellant such as dichlorofluoromethane.
