動機を示し、第１図は部分断面側面図、第２図は
側面図、第３図は従来の電動機の部分断面側面図
である。 図において、１は電動機本体、２は外扇カバー
、３は外扇フアン、４は保護カバー、５は防塵カ
バー、６はシヤフトである。なお、図中同一符号
は同一、または相当部分を示す。

Claims (1)
- 固定子、回転子、それ等を支えるフレーム、ブ
ラケツトにより構成された回転電機本体と、ブラ
ケツトに嵌合された軸受により軸支されるシヤフ
トと、このシヤフトの反負荷連結側に取り付けら
れた外扇フアン、この外扇フアンを覆う筒状の外
扇カバー、この外扇カバー吸気側側面に保護網機
能を持たせず開放とし、外扇カバーの吸気側面と
ある間隔を保たせて取付けた、平板状の保護カバ
ーとで構成された回転電機において、外扇カバー
の円周方向の少なくとも上半面（９０°〜１８０
°の範囲）に外扇カバーと上記保護カバーの間隔
を覆うように取りつけた防塵カバーを有する外扇
形回転電機。
