BACKGROUND ART Recently, with the spread of office equipment such as computers, health problems such as decreased visual acuity of workers who spend long hours on visual display devices (VDTs) have become a problem. One of the causes of this is the light source of the lighting device attached to the ceiling surface and the high brightness translucent cover surface.
It is said that the characters and patterns on the screen are difficult to see due to the reflection on the VDT screen and the image of the illuminator.

Conventionally, as a means to prevent reflection of the light source, a black buff is provided on the inner surface of the container box. Alternatively, measures have been taken such as providing a mirror reflector (parabolic reflector) with a parabolic cross section to regulate the direction of reflected light.

However, the former has poor illumination efficiency because a considerable portion of the effective light is absorbed and attenuated by the black baffle. On the other hand, the latter requires expensive louvers. In addition, the size of the fixtures has increased, and in the case of ceiling-embedded lighting fixtures, there have been problems such as an increase in the depth of embedding.

This invention was proposed in view of the above points,
The purpose is to prevent the above-mentioned light source reflection with a simple configuration. To achieve this purpose, the ceiling illuminator of the present invention has the following configuration. That is, along the guide rail 4 provided on the side surface 2a of the container box 2 of the illuminator 1, the dimming filter 3 is provided so as to be removable in the vertical direction, and the dimming filter 3 is locked at a desired pull-out position. It is characterized by having a friction locking member.

The light attenuation filter 3 is a flat plate made of synthetic resin such as acrylic resin with a light transmittance of 30%, for example. Alternatively, polarizing glass, a half mirror, a non-transparent plate, or the like may be used. In the case of half mirrors and non-transparent plates, those with a parabolic cross section may be used.

Reference numeral 4 indicates guide rails provided on both sides of the attenuation filter 3, and screws 5 are attached to the inner or outer surface of the side surface 2a of the container.
Attach with etc. Reference numeral 6 denotes a friction plate made of a rubber plate or the like as a friction locking member attached to the side surface 2a of the container box or the inner surface of the guide rail 4, and between the friction plate 6 and the leaf spring 7 attached to the guide rail 4, etc. By clamping the light attenuation filter 3 in a vertically movable manner, the filter 3 can be locked at any desired position. Reference numeral 8 indicates a screw for adjusting the pressing force of the leaf spring 7 against the attenuation filter 3.

Note that a friction plate is used in place of the leaf spring 7, and both the inner and outer surfaces of the attenuation filter 3 are held between the friction plates. Alternatively, a rack and pinion having a large friction coefficient may be provided as friction locking members between the side surface 2a of the container box or the guide rail 4 and the attenuation filter 3, and the attenuation filter 3 can be engaged with the rack and pinion. It may be configured such that it can be locked in any position, or any other appropriate arrangement may be made.

Since the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, the light from the illuminator 1 is reflected on the screen of the VDT as shown in FIG. 4, for example.
When characters on the screen are difficult to see due to the image of the illuminator, the light from the illuminator 1 is attenuated by pulling out the attenuation filter 3 downward as shown by the chain line in Figures 2 and 3. It is possible to prevent the reflection of the above-mentioned illuminator by blocking or blocking the illuminator. Moreover, the above-mentioned dimming filter 3 can be locked in a desired drawer position by simply pulling the filter 3 in and out using a friction locking member such as a friction plate 6, so that it is easy to put in and take out the filter 3. Accordingly, the length of the drawer of the attenuation filter 3 can be arbitrarily adjusted easily and quickly. Furthermore, when the light attenuation filter 3 is not needed, it is retracted upward, thereby minimizing the light attenuation caused by the light attenuation filter 3.

Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 5, the area where the angle θ with respect to the line of sight E is 30° is generally called the glare zone.
It is known that it is easy to feel so-called unpleasant glare, but even in this case, the above-mentioned unpleasant glare can be eliminated by pulling out the dimming filter 3 of the illuminator 1 that enters the glare zone.

Although the figure shows an example in which the present invention is applied to a ceiling-embedded fluorescent light, semi-embedded or ceiling-mounted fluorescent lights may also be used. Moreover, it can be applied not only to fluorescent lamps but also to incandescent lamps. In this case, in the case of a container box having a circular plan view, the attenuation filter 3 is formed into a curved surface along the circular side circumferential surface, and is provided on the entire circumference or a part of the side circumferential surface.
