In this type of frequency synthesizer receiver, frequency division ratio data to be supplied to a variable frequency divider constituting a part of the frequency synthesizer is stored in advance in a storage device in correspondence with a plurality of stations listed on a station name display board. By pressing the preset station selection switch provided corresponding to the station name on the inserted station name display board, the frequency division ratio data for the station corresponding to the preset station selection switch is supplied from the storage device to the variable frequency divider. The configuration is such that the preset station is selected and received.

For this reason, in conventional frequency synthesizer receivers of this type, when the number of preset stations is increased, the length of the station name display board becomes longer, and the number of preset station selection switches also increases. The disadvantages are that the volume, especially the surface area, of the material increases, and the cost also increases.

The station name display board identification circuit 16 consists of an insulating plate 19 and a pair of plate-shaped elastic conductors 20 whose ends are fixed to both sides of the insulating plate 19. The plate-shaped elastic conductors 20 normally come into contact with each other due to their elasticity. ing. Further, the width of the plate-shaped elastic conductor 20 is set to be approximately equal to the width of the protrusion 18-1 on one end side of the station name display board 18. Contact or non-contact of the plate-shaped elastic conductor 20 is configured to be detected by a station name display board identification circuit 16.
Further, the drive circuit 16-1 is configured to switch the switch circuit 17 depending on whether the plate-shaped elastic conductor 20 is in contact or not.

On the other hand, the station name display board identification circuit 16A is an identification circuit that detects the front and back sides of the first and second station name display boards 18A and 18B, and a decoder 16 that decodes the outputs of the detection circuit 16B and the detection circuit 16B.
C, the output of the decoder 16C is input and the output of the memory 15-3, 15-4, 15-5, 15-6 is switched, and the memory 15-3, 15-4, 15
A drive circuit 1 that drives a switch circuit 17A that supplies the output of -5 or 15-6 to the variable frequency divider 12.
It consists of 6D. The detection circuit 16B includes light emitting elements 2 arranged at predetermined intervals as shown in FIG. 7b.
3A, 23B, 23C and 23D and light emitting element 2
Light receiving elements 24A to 24D facing 3A to 23D
It consists of a photodetector consisting of light emitting elements 23A~
Projections 18A-1 and 18B-1 of the first and second station name display plates 18A and 18B inserted into the receiver between 23D and the light receiving elements 24A to 24D
By detecting the position of the station name display board 18A-1, the front and back of the first station name display board 18A-1 and the front and back of the first station name display board 18B-1 are detected.

That is, for example, the first station name display board 18A-1
is inserted, and when the front side faces the window 2, the light from the light emitting element 23A is blocked by the protrusion 18A-1, and when the back side faces the window 2, the light from the light emitting element 23D is blocked by the protrusion 18A. -1 blocks light. Also, a second station name display board 18B is inserted,
When the front side faces the window 2, the light from the light emitting element 23B is blocked by the protrusion 18B-1, and when the back side faces the window 2, the light from the light emitting element 23C is blocked by the protrusion 18B-1. be done. Therefore, the type of station name display board inserted into the receiver and its front and back are detected by the output of the detection circuit 16B.

On the other hand, the output of the detection circuit 16B is sent to the decoder 16C.
The signal is input to the switch circuit 17A via the drive circuit 16D. For example, when the first station name display board 18A is inserted and its front side faces the window 2, the switch circuit 17A
selects memory 15-3, and when the back side faces window 2, switch circuit 17A selects memory 15-3.
-4 is selected and the second station name display board 18B is inserted, and its front side faces window 2, the switch circuit 17A selects memory 15-5, and its back side faces window 2. When the memory 15-6 is present, the switch circuit 17A selects the memory 15-6.

Therefore, in another embodiment of the present invention, by using two station name cards, even if the number of preset stations is doubled compared to the conventional one, the length of the station name display boards 18A and 18B is still the same as that of the conventional station name display board. The length will be reduced to 1/2, and the number of preset station selection switches will be reduced to 1/2.
