ら挿入されたデイスクカートリツジを装置内で保
持するホルダと、スライド板を常時デイスクカー
トリツジのローデイング方向に付勢する付勢手段
と、デイスクカートリツジ内の情報記録デイスク
に対し信号の書き込み及び/または読み出しを行
なうヘツドと、情報記録デイスクを回転台を介し
て回転させるデイスク駆動用モータと、スライド
板に係合可能な突起が突設されたスライド板駆動
レバーと、スライド板駆動レバーを回転させスラ
イド板をデイスクカートリツジのイジエクト方向
に移動させるイジエクト用モータとを備えたデイ
スク駆動装置において、スライド板駆動レバーの
突起の位置を検出する検出手段と、この検出手段
からの検出結果により、突起が予め設定した範囲
に停止しているときには電源投入時に予め設定し
た位置までスライド板駆動レバーを回転させるイ
ジエクト用モータの制御手段とを設けたことを特
