拡大斜視図、第５図はサーマルヘツドの拡大正面
図、第６図はヘツド駆動回路の要部を模式的に示
す回路図であり、Ａは通常サイズが指定されたと
きの画素情報を付記して示す図、Ｂは縮小サイズ
が指定されたときの画素情報を付記して示す図、
第７図はプリントイメージを説明するためのもの
で、Ａは元の画素情報を示す図、Ｂは通常サイズ
によるプリントが行なわれたときの図、Ｃは縮小
サイズによるプリントが行なわれたときの図、第
８図及び第９図は従来のサーマルプリンタの一例
を示すもので、第８図は要部の概略側面図、第９
図はサーマルヘツドの拡大正面図、第１０図は問
題点を説明するための図であり、Ａは通常サイズ
によるプリントが行なわれたときの図、Ｂは縮小
サイズによるプリントが行なわれたときの図であ

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 直線上に配列された多数の発熱素子を有す
    るサーマルヘツドと、用紙を印刷ラインと直交す
    る方向へ送る紙送手段と、発熱素子に電力を供給
    して発熱させるヘツド駆動回路とを備え、上記サ
    ーマルヘツドを用紙に接触させた状態での発熱素
    子の発熱とプリント用紙の送りとを繰り返して画
    像のプリントを行なうサーマルプリンタであつて
    、 用紙サイズを指定するサイズ指定手段と、 １つの画素に対して発熱させる発熱素子の数を
    異ならせる発熱素子数制御手段とを備え、 指定された用紙サイズに応じて１つの画素に対
    する発熱素子数を異ならせてヘツド駆動回路を駆
    動させる ことを特徴とするサーマルプリンタ。 (2) 指定された用紙サイズに応じて紙送速度を
    変えるようにした ことを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項
    記載のサーマルプリンタ。 (3) 指定された用紙サイズに応じて発熱素子に
    供給する電力を変えるようにした ことを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項
    記載のサーマルプリンタ。
