Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable analysis of a disturbance with the determination of a relation between the disturbance and temperature and collection of a temperature allowance data in addition to the detection of a temperature abnormality, by measuring temperature within an information processor to store the results after the calculation of a difference from an allowable temperature of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A difference is calculated by a computing means 3 between temperature within an information processor as measured with a temperature measuring device 1 and the max. value of a temperature allowed by the apparatus stored by a reference value storing means 2 and the results are reported to an alarm display means 4, a power source control means 5 and a disturbance information housing means 6. This enables the determination of a temperature state in the apparatus when a disturbance occurs in addition to the detection of abnormality in the temperature of the apparatus and an analysis on disturbance is possible with the determination of a relation between the disturbance and temperature and the collection of a temperature allowance data.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The above-described conventional temperature detection inside an information processing device shows that the temperature inside the device has reached its limit, but it is not possible to detect the temperature within the device when a failure other than temperature abnormality occurs. Since the temperature margin relative to the limit temperature is not known, there is a problem in that it is not possible to understand the relationship between temperature and failure.

The temperature measuring means 1 measures the temperature inside the information processing apparatus of this embodiment. The reference value storage means 2 stores the maximum temperature value allowed by the information processing apparatus of this embodiment as a reference value. Operator 1:13 calculates the difference between the internal temperature of the device measured by temperature measurement means 1 and the reference value stored in reference value storage means 2, and sends this result to alarm/display means 4 and power supply control means 5.
and notifies the failure information storage means 6. If it is determined from this result that the temperature inside the device is higher than the reference value, the alarm/display means 4 issues an alarm and displays a message.

The temperature inside the device is measured by the temperature measuring means 1 and outputted to the calculating means 3. The calculation means 3 stores the temperature (T) inside the device measured by the temperature measurement means 1 and the reference value storage means 2.
The difference AT from the reference la (T,) stored in
(=Ts -'r) is calculated as n, and the calculation result is notified to the alarm/display means 4, the power supply control means 5, and the failure information storage means 9/6. If T exceeds T (T, < T, that is, ΔT 0
), the alarm/display means 4 issues an alarm indicating temperature abnormality and displays a message. Similarly, when the calculation result (ΔT) is ΔT<O, the power supply control means 5 turns off the power supply to the device in order to prevent damage to the device due to temperature rise.
Set it to F to stop further heat generation.
