- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 回転軸１の軸心方向Ｃに移動不能に設けたシー
トリング２と回転軸１の軸心方向Ｃに移動可能に
設けた従動リング３とを密封端面５で互いに回転
接触させるとともに、従動リング３を弾圧体６で
シートリング２の方向に接当付勢して密封端面５
を弾圧封止するメカニカルシールにおいて、 従動リング３に遠心錘７を同行回転可能に付設
し、従動リング３をシートリング２に対して弾圧
体６の弾圧力と遠心錘７の遠心力とで押圧接当さ
せて、回転軸１の回転数の上昇により遠心錘７の
遠心力が増大して、密封端面５の封止力を増強さ
せるように構成したことを特徴とするメカニカル
シール。
