- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 原稿１が画像面を向けてセツトされる透明な媒
体セツト板２と、 該媒体セツト板２の下面に対して所定間隙をお
いて設けられたライン状のイメージセンサ７０を
有する読取ユニツト７とから成り、 該読取ユニツト７及び該媒体セツト板２を相対
的に平行に移動させながら該イメージセンサ７０
によつて該原稿の画像を読み取る読取装置であつ
て、 前記読取ユニツト７上の前記イメージセンサ７
０による読み取りを妨げない位置に、該イメージ
センサ７０に平行に、柔軟性を有する材料で少な
くとも該イメージセンサ７０の長さと同じ長さで
、該読取ユニツト７と前記媒体セツト板２の間隙
の高さに形成された板状の清掃部材１１を設けた
ことを特徴とする読取装置。
