[Technical field to which the invention pertains] The present invention relates to a method for producing a perovskite compound of a metal oxide. In particular, the present invention relates to a method for producing a valence-compensated perovskite compound that is suitable alone for piezoelectric ceramic materials, dielectric ceramic materials, etc., or suitable as an additive for piezoelectric ceramic materials, dielectric ceramic materials, etc. [Description of the Prior Art] Compounds having a perovskite structure are generally very important substances used in piezoelectric ceramic materials, dielectric ceramic materials, etc. because they have electrical properties such as dielectricity and piezoelectricity. Barium titanate (BaTiO 3 ) and lead zirconate titanate (PZT) are typical perovskite-type compounds. In general, the general formula of perovskite oxide is:
It is usually represented by RMO 3 (R is a divalent metal and M is a tetravalent metal). On the other hand, this perovskite-type oxide is called R(M′ 1/2・M″ 1/2 )O 3 (where M′ is a trivalent metal, M″ is a pentavalent metal) or R(M′ 1/3・M ″ 2/3 ) O 3 (M′: divalent metal, M″: pentavalent metal) forms a perovskite-type structure even with trivalent or pentavalent metal elements, making it possible to utilize more elements. new properties can be obtained. This is a valence-compensated perovskite compound, and the valence-compensated perovskite compound can be used alone or as an additive. Conventionally, the method of adding this additive is to add the additive to the main component, metal oxide or carbonate,
It was common to add it to nitrates, hydroxides, oxalates, etc. in the form of oxides or the various salts mentioned above, and go through the steps of mixing, calcination, crushing, and firing. However, the solid solution obtained in this way does not have a uniform solid solution state, and the properties of the piezoelectric or dielectric material may change or vary due to impurities mixed in from the grinding equipment during grinding. An inconvenience occurred. Furthermore, the amount of energy consumed in the crushing equipment, baking equipment exceeding 1000°C, etc. was extremely large. That is, with the conventional addition method described above, it is difficult to control the material properties, there are problems in obtaining high-level properties with good reproducibility, and the amount of energy consumed is large. From this point of view, it has been strongly desired to realize a method for producing fine-grained perovskite compounds with high purity and uniform composition at temperatures below 1000°C. [Objective of the present invention] The present invention solves the above-mentioned drawbacks, and aims to produce a perovskite compound (a) in a uniform and desired composition, (b) in highly pure and fine particles, and (c) in a low-density form with less energy. (d) An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a valence-compensated perovskite compound that can be produced using more metal elements at a lower cost. [Summary of the Invention] The present invention is a method for producing a metal oxide perovskite compound represented by A(BX)O 3 . Here, A is at least one selected from barium (Ba), strontium (Sr), and lead (Pb).
is an element more than a species, and B is selected from iron (Fe), lanthanum (La), yttrium (Y), gadolinium (Gd), europium (Eu), zinc (Zn), and magnesium (Mg). It is at least one element, and X is niobium (Nb) or tantalum (Ta). That is, the first feature of the present invention is that at least one selected from barium, strontium, and lead
A step of mixing and reacting an alkoxide of one or more elements with an alkoxide of at least one element selected from iron, lanthanum, yttrium, gadolinium, europium, zinc, and magnesium and an alkoxide of niobium or tantalum. and a step of hydrolyzing the reaction product to obtain a valence-compensated perovskite compound. Note that it is preferable to react the above three types of alkoxides in a state in which they are dissolved in an organic solvent. In addition, the reaction temperature of the above three types of alkoxides is
The temperature is preferably 0°C to 100°C. In addition, the reaction temperature for obtaining the valence-compensated perovskite compound by hydrolysis is 0°C to 100°C.
Preferably it is ℃. The second feature of the present invention is that an alkoxide of at least one element selected from barium, strontium, and lead and an alkoxide of at least one element selected from iron, lanthanum, yttrium, gadolinium, europium, zinc, and magnesium at least 1
A step of mixing and reacting an alkoxide of more than one element with an alkoxide of niobium or tantalum; a step of hydrolyzing this reaction product to obtain a hydrous and/or amorphous valence-compensated perovskite compound; The present invention provides a method for producing a valence-compensated perovskite compound, which includes a step of heating a hydrous and/or amorphous valence-compensated perovskite compound to obtain an anhydrous and/or crystalline valence-compensated perovskite compound. The heating temperature of the amorphous valence-compensated perovskite compound is preferably 500° C. or higher and lower than the decomposition start temperature of the valence-compensated perovskite compound. As used herein, alkoxide refers to a compound in which the hydrogen atom of the OH group of an alcohol is replaced with a metal atom. [Supplementary Explanation] The present invention will be further explained below. The present invention provides an alkoxide of at least one element selected from barium, strontium, and lead, and at least one element selected from iron, lanthanum, yttrium, gadolinium, europium, zinc, and magnesium. The starting materials are elemental alkoxides and niobium or tantalum alkoxides. When producing these alkoxides, methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol and the like are preferred as alcohols because they are easily available or produced industrially. The type of alcohol used is largely related to the reactivity in producing the alkoxide, but when the produced alkoxide is used as a starting material for the present invention, the type of alkyl group in the alkoxide is not essentially important. The three types of alkoxides or their organic solvent solutions obtained as described above are mixed to the desired composition and reacted, and then decarboxylated distilled water is gradually added to perform hydrolysis. A powder precipitate forms. When this is separated by filtration, A(BNb)O 3 and A(BTa)O 3 based perovskite type compounds are obtained. At least one of the above three types of alkoxides
If two or more are liquids, they can be directly mixed or reacted. Particularly in this case, it is desirable to mix or react in an organic solvent in order to facilitate mixing and accelerate the reaction. As this organic solvent, benzene, alcohol, hexane, etc. are suitable, but benzene is most suitable because of its high solubility. The reaction temperature may be below the temperature at which the alkoxide decomposes, but for convenience of handling, it may be 0°C.
~150℃ is desirable. Particularly preferred reaction temperatures are:
The temperature is between 40°C and 100°C. When the reaction temperature exceeds the boiling point of the solvent, the reaction can be carried out under pressure in a pressure vessel. In addition, when water is added to the reaction system to perform hydrolysis, it can be carried out by directly adding water to the solution, or it can be carried out by contacting it with a stream of steam blown out from a pressurized container. . The temperature of this hydrolysis is preferably 0°C to 100°C, particularly preferably 0°C to 100°C for convenience of handling without pressurization
The temperature is between 25°C and 100°C. In the case of applying pressure or contacting with a stream of steam, a temperature of 100°C to 400°C is appropriate. According to the method of the present invention, the perovskite compound obtained by the reaction is usually amorphous, but it can be easily converted into a crystalline compound by heating.
The heating temperature is desirably 500° C. or higher under normal pressure and lower than the decomposition start temperature of the perovskite compound, but it can also be heated at a lower temperature, or by vacuum heating, vacuum drying, or other methods. Further, the atmosphere in this case is a neutral, oxidizing, or reducing atmosphere. In addition, the perovskite compound obtained by the reaction may be obtained as a hydrate, an anhydride, or a combination of an anhydride and a hydrate, depending on the reaction conditions, types of elements used, drying conditions, etc. However, if it is obtained as a hydrate or a mixture of an anhydride and a hydrate, it can be easily converted to an anhydride by heating or drying as necessary. Can be done. When this perovskite type compound is used in piezoelectric ceramics, dielectric ceramics, etc., or as an additive thereof, it is desirable that the final form is an anhydrous compound, but water is not added during the production of the compound as an intermediate raw material. Even if it does contain it, it can be dehydrated by heating or the like in a subsequent treatment step and can be used as an anhydrous oxide. The perovskite compound that has undergone the above reaction and heating steps is confirmed to be a desired crystalline compound by X-ray diffraction. According to electron microscopy, this crystallized perovskite compound is 0.1μ
It can be seen that the particles are fine particles with a particle diameter of m or less. Chemical analysis also confirmed that this perovskite compound is a highly pure powder with impurities of 0.1% or less. [Effects of the Invention] As described above, according to the present invention, by mixing and reacting the three types of alkoxides and hydrolyzing to obtain a valence-compensated perovskite compound, (a) a homogeneous solution can be obtained; Because it is produced through a reaction, fine-grained perovskite compounds with a uniform and desired composition can be easily obtained with high purity. (c) This perovskite-type compound has excellent effects that can ultimately be used in ceramic materials with advanced properties. [Explanation based on Examples] Next, the present invention will be explained in more detail using Examples, but the gist of the present invention is not limited to the following Examples. Example An alkoxide as a starting material was obtained by the following method. That is, niobium, tantalum, and iron isopropoxides are prepared by dissolving niobium, tantalum, and iron chlorides in isopropanol;
Each was synthesized by passing dry ammonia gas there. Lead isopropoxide was synthesized by reacting sodium isopropoxide obtained from the reaction of sodium metal and isopropanol with lead acetate. Barium or strontium isopropoxide is produced by directly reacting barium or strontium metal with isopropanol. Magnesium methoxide was produced by directly reacting magnesium metal with methanol. Zinc ethoxide was synthesized by adding zinc chloride to sodium ethoxide obtained by the reaction of ethanol and sodium metal. Lanthanum, yttrium, gadolinium, and europium alkoxides were obtained by chlorinating their respective oxides with ammonium chloride and then reacting them with lithium isopropoxide. The alkoxides obtained in this way are: When B is a divalent metal element; A:B:Nb (or Ta) = 3:1:2 When B is a trivalent metal element; A:B:Nb (or Ta) = 2:1:1 (A: Ba, Sr, Pb B: Zn, Mg, La, Y, Gd, Eu, Fe), mixed in 500 ml of benzene solution, and reacted. I let it happen. The reaction was carried out at 60°C for over 1 hour. Next, 15 ml of decarbonated distilled water was added dropwise little by little while the mixture was being refluxed at 60°C, and a white precipitate was formed. This precipitate was separated by filtration and then dried in air at 70°C for 10 hours to obtain a powder compound. The crystallinity of this powder compound was examined by X-ray diffraction. As a result of X-ray diffraction, it was confirmed that the amorphous product became crystalline upon heating. The heating temperatures at this time were 600°C, 800°C, and 1000°C for 2 hours each. The crystal structure of the obtained powder compound is shown in the table. These results show that the product obtained by hydrolyzing an alkoxide becomes a crystalline compound with the desired composition by heating in a temperature range of 600°C to 1000°C. In addition, in the case of each compound, the powder obtained was a white powder, and chemical analysis confirmed that it was a highly pure substance with impurities of 0.1% or less. Furthermore, observation using an electron microscope showed that the particle size of the obtained powder remained small even after heating at 600℃ to 1000℃.
They were fine particles of 0.1 μm or less.
