度磁気記録に適する磁気ヘツドに関する。

使用される磁気ヘツドは、記録特性と再生特性と
を両立させるために、作動ギヤツプを有して磁気
記録媒体に対向する前部コアと、この前部コアの
後部磁気回路を構成する後部コアとを、夫々特性
の異なる同種あるいは異種の材料を用いて構成
し、両者を互いに接合して性能の向上を図つてい
る。

材料であるから比較的良好な接合が得られると思
われるが、結合のために特別な熱処理を施さねば
ならないという欠点がある。

そのため、この発明による磁気ヘツドは、前部

の凹部の開口両側端部を夫々略L字状に切欠いて
前部コアと後部コアとの接合部に接着用溝を形成
し、この接着用溝に接着剤を充填して、接着剤乾
燥時の収縮力を有効に利用して強固な接合状態を
得るようにしたものである。

成する後部コアとを互いに接合して成る磁気ヘツ
ドにおいて、前記前部コアと後部コアの接合部の
一方に凹部を他方に凸部を設けて互いに嵌合させ
ると共に、この接合部の前記凹部の開口両側端部
を夫々略L字状に切欠いて前記前部コアと後部コ
アとの接合部に接着用溝を形成し、この接着用溝
に接着剤を充填してなることを特徴とする磁気ヘ
ツド。
