Inoculate and culture. In this case, since test bacteria do not grow near the colony of the isolated bacterial strain that secretes antibacterial substances, the length of this growth inhibition zone is measured to determine the antibacterial activity against each test bacteria. The isolated bacterial strain is cultured in liquid and grown to a diameter of 5 m.
It is soaked into a circular filter paper disk of size m, and the disk is placed on the surface of an agar medium inoculated with the test bacteria and cultured at an appropriate temperature. If the isolated strain produces antibiotics, the growth of the test bacteria is inhibited and a transparent circle called an inhibition circle is formed around the disk. The antibacterial potency was determined by measuring the diameter of this circle.

The filter is inserted into the support plate so as to protrude from both sides of the support plate, while a container in which a small chamber for accommodating the culture solution of the isolated bacteria is provided at a location opposite to the small hole, and the filter is inserted into the support plate. One end of each filter inserted into each small hole is immersed in the corresponding small chamber's 1iII bacterial culture solution, and after the culture solution reaches the other end of the filter due to capillary action, the support The plate is inverted and the other end of the filter is placed on the surface of the agar medium inoculated with the test bacteria and cultured, thereby making it possible to measure the antibacterial activity of the isolated bacteria or antibiotic against the test bacteria. The purpose is to provide an antibacterial power measurement device that can

Then, grasp the support plate and insert the lower protrusion of the filter into each corresponding compartment of the container. Since the culture fluids of various types of isolated bacteria are stored in these small chambers, the culture fluids rise within each filter due to capillary action and reach one end on the opposite side. Therefore, the support plate supporting the filter was inverted, and the part not immersed in the culture solution was placed on the agar medium surface inoculated with the test bacteria, with the part not immersed in the culture solution facing downward. If the container containing the microorganisms is covered and cultured, it is possible to assay as many samples as there are small holes in the support plate at the same time.

Insert one protrusion into each chamber of the container containing the culture solution of the isolated bacteria, and immerse the lower part of the filter in the culture solution. In this case, the culture solution will be absorbed by capillary action. to reach the upper end of the filter. In this way, the objects to be inspected do not have to be created individually, but can be created at the same time.Furthermore, by reversing the support plate supporting the filter, the upper end of the filter can be moved downward. Invert. Then, pre-invert each end of the inverted filter.
Place it on top of the test bacteria inoculated on the agar medium, and
A container containing the agar medium is covered and cultured. If antibiotics are made, the growth of test bacteria will be inhibited around the filter, creating a transparent inhibition circle. Therefore,
By measuring the diameter of this circle, the antibacterial titer can be determined.
