PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a gate door, by a method wherein a motor, a reduction gear, and a drive unit are incorporated in a gate column, the base part of an arm protruded from the gate column and horizontally pivoted centering around the gate column is coupled to the reduction gear, and the tip of the arm is mounted to the suspension base side of the gate door. CONSTITUTION:Hollow gate columns 1 are erected with a distance therebetween, a gate door 4 is openably mounted, and a drive unit 8 comprising a motor 6 and a reduction gear 7 is incorporated in the lower part of the gate column 1.
