It is preferable that the stop watch is operated by arranging a push button on the side of the periphery and pushing the button. On the other hand, consider that the circuit board that controls the digital display receives the operation of a push button that operates parallel to the digital display surface and converts it into an electrical signal on the circuit board. Conventionally, side processing was done by transferring a pad to the side of the circuit board or soldering a U-shaped metal lead to the side of the circuit board, and the operation of the push button was made to collide with this. There were many formats. These have problems in terms of manufacturing cost, contact reliability, and even drop impact.

Under normal conditions, the rotary lever 18 receives the return force of the rubber switch 17 and is stable in the up position shown in FIG. When the user presses the push button in the direction of arrow 13, the straight lever 7 slides in the direction of arrow 13 against the force of the return spring 11. At this time, the resistance force of the return spring 11 reaches its peak during the sliding process, and the movement feels like a snap. Arrow 1
The sliding movement in three directions is performed by the end 7- of the straight lever 7.
3 comes into contact with the end 9-2 of the rotary lever 18 and presses it, causing the rotary lever 18 to rotate at high speed in the direction of the arrow 14. The operating end 19 of the rotary lever is indicated by arrow 1
It operates by converting pushes in three directions to right angles. The arrow 13 is parallel to the circuit board 6, but the operating end 19 of the rotary lever is intended to move substantially perpendicularly toward the circuit board 6. Facing the operating end 19, the circuit board 6 has a divided conductive pattern 6-1 in its plane.
It is equipped with Starting, stopping, resetting, etc. of the stopwatch are performed by conducting the divided conductive pattern 6-1 and applying an electric signal to the circuit constituting the stopwatch. The present invention utilizes conductive rubber for this continuity. 17 is a rubber switch having a conductive rubber 10 held on the circuit board 6, 18 is a rotary lever, and 19 is an operating end of the rotary lever.

When the straight lever 7 is pushed in the direction of arrow 13 from this state, the end 7-3 pushes the rotary lever 18, and the operating end 19 of the rotary lever moves in the direction of arrow 14, pushing the rubber switch 17 and deforming it. Rubber switch 17
The conductive rubber 10 integral with the is pressed to conduct the divided conductive patterns 6-1 of the circuit board. Next, when the user releases the push operation, the straight lever 7 returns to the spring 1.
1 in the direction of arrow 15. At the same time, the rotating lever 18 is pushed back in the direction of the arrow 20 by the restoring force of the rubber switch 17 and returns to its original position. When pushing, the stepped portion 2 provided on the straight lever 7
1 collides with the wall 22 of the mechanism block 5 and absorbs the shock there, making the structure safe and highly accurate in stroke and operation. 23 is an upper polarizing plate, 24 is an upper glass, 25 is a lower glass, and 26 is a connector.

る。 Furthermore, as in the past, when a metal piece collides with a divided conductive pattern at high speed, the pattern or metal piece is damaged and the contact performance deteriorates, but this problem has been solved by using conductive rubber. Furthermore, the conductive rubber has appropriate elasticity, and in the process of denaturation, it connects reliably across the divided conductive patterns, so there is no possibility of operational errors. Furthermore, since the conductive rubber is sticky, the contacts will not jump and cause chattering. Also, this elasticity allows for wide tolerances in the mechanical dimensions of the contact stroke, making it easy to manufacture. Furthermore, the pushbutton of the stopwatch protrudes considerably from the side of the case, so if you accidentally drop it during operation, the pushbutton is likely to hit the floor, and excessive force from the floor will act to push the pushbutton. Even if this happens, the conductive rubber acts as a cushion and can prevent damage to the circuit board, etc.
