Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a swelling-out part at the tip part of of an upper-most curved frame, to minimize the diameter of a tip constituting part and to decrease the pain of a patient by forming a notch part at the tip side of a side surface swelling-out part. CONSTITUTION:A side surface swelling-out part 40 to swell in a diameter direction at a side wall is formed at a curved frame 25 to position at the upper-most edge, and therefore, the side surface swelling-out part 40 protects the coupling part of the tip edge part of a tube 38 for a forceps channel. Even when the diameter of the coupling part is larger, the side surface swelling-out part 40 is swelled to the outside, and therefore, a large diameter part is not contacted at the curved frame 25. Since a notch part 41 is formed at the tip side of the curved frame 25 even from the swelling part 40, the swelling part does not exist at the tip surface of the curved frame 25, consequently, it is not necessary to form the swelling part at a main body member 26 of a tip constituting part 6 to couple the curved frame 25, and therefore, the diameter of the tip constituting part 6 can be minimized compared with the conventional diameter. Thus, it is easier to insert the endoscope into the body cavity of the patient and the pain of the patient is minimized.

A specific example of a conventional endoscope will be explained based on FIGS. 6 and 7. Curved portion 5 formed on the distal end side of the insertion section
The core material 20 is constructed by connecting a plurality of curved portions 23 longitudinally and movably in sequence by pins 24. Among the plurality of curved portions 23 . . . , the distal end portion of the curved portion 25 located at the most distal end is connected and fixed to the main body member 2G of the distal end forming portion 6 .

In this case, the connection between the built-in parts 35 and 38 and the distal side connecting pipe member 32°37 will be provided inside the curved part 25 located at the most distal end, and the connection between the built-in parts 35 and 38 and the distal side connecting pipe member 32. Since the connecting portion with the pipe members 32 and 37 has a large diameter, a large space is required and the rigidity is also large.

For this reason, conventionally, the curved portion 25 located at the leading edge
In this case, a side bulge 40 as shown in FIG. 7 is formed. This side bulging portion 40 swells in the radial direction of the curved portion 25, and the connecting portion between the built-in component 35.38 having a larger diameter and the distal end side connecting pipe member 32.37 comes into contact with the curved portion 25. This is to avoid doing so.

Furthermore, since the notch 41 is formed closer to the distal end of the curved section 25 than the bulged section 40, there is no bulge on the distal end surface of the curved section 25, so that the curved section 25 is not connected. Since there is no need to form a bulge in the main body member 26 of the distal end component 6, the diameter of the distal end component 6 can be made smaller than in the conventional case, which is indicated by the broken line in FIG.

That is, FIGS. 4 and 5 show another embodiment of the present invention, in which the bulge portion is formed by a bulge-shaped cover 50 that is separate from the curved portion 25. FIG. In this case, a notch 41 extending in the axial direction is formed in the curved part 25, and a separate bulging cover 50 is glued to the inner end of the notch 41, that is, to the part corresponding to the maximum diameter of the built-in object.
