Abstract

PURPOSE:To deodorize efficiently by providing a contact layer constituted of an anticorrosion metal net as a contact filter medium in an intermediate section of a deodorizing column and flowing from the upper section downward treated gas, spraying water and decomposing and deodorizing solution of water soluble smelly component through said contact layer. CONSTITUTION:Domestic drain treatment gas containing a smelly component generated in a purifying treatment device is introduced into an upper space 3 of a deodorizing column 1 through a suction pipe 5. Then, a valve 9 is opened and the water in which air is mixed is jetted out of a spray opening 8, while a suction fan 14 of an exhaust pipe 13 is actuated to generate a downcoming air flow in the deodorizing column 1. As the treated gas containing smelly component passes through a contact layer 2, the smelly component comes in contact with spray water while passing through the mesh of a contact filter medium 6 to dissolve sulfur dioxide, ammonia gas and the like. Also, as a deodorizing solution to decompose a water insoluble smelly component is dropped from a deodorizing solution tank 10 onto the contact layer 2, the smelly component is decomposed and deodorized, and the deodorized gas is discharged out of a lower space 4.

Therefore, in order to completely decompose these oils, fats, proteins, starches, etc., domestic wastewater is allowed to stay in purification treatment equipment for a long period of time. When decomposed, sulfur dioxide gas, ammonia gas, etc. are generated mainly from oils and fats, producing various odor components. If the treated gas that generates these odor components is discharged directly into the outside air, it will cause environmental pollution. Cause.

This invention was made to solve these problems, and in the purification treatment of domestic wastewater, oils, fats, proteins,
Processing gas containing odor components generated by decomposition of starch, etc. is introduced into the upper space of the deodorizing tower through the intake pipe, and water is sprayed from the upper space of the deodorizing tower onto a contact layer using a corrosion-resistant metal mesh as a contact filter medium. Then, the treated gas is brought into contact with spray water while passing through the contact layer to dissolve water-soluble odor components such as ammonia gas and sulfur dioxide gas, and a deodorizing liquid for decomposing water-insoluble odor components is dropped onto the contact layer. The water-insoluble odor components of the treated gas are decomposed by being diffused into the contact layer together with the spray water, and the deodorized gas after contacting the contact layer is discharged from the space below the contact layer through an exhaust pipe, so that the contact layer is made of activated carbon. Use it without replacing it as in the case,
From the processed gas generated from domestic wastewater purification equipment, etc.
This makes it possible to efficiently and completely remove odor components.

Next, when the valve 9 is opened, the water mixed with air by the blower rises through the water supply pipe 7 erected along the outer wall of the deodorizing tower 1 due to the air lift effect, and is ejected from the spray port 8 . In addition, the deodorizing tower 1
A downward airflow is generated from the upper space 3 to the lower space 4, and the processing gas containing odor components flows through the contact layer 2, so that the odor components come into contact with the spray water while passing through the mesh of the contact filter medium 6. As a result, among the odor components, water-soluble odor components such as sulfur dioxide gas and ammonia gas are dissolved.

According to the method and apparatus for deodorizing a gas containing odor components of the present invention, the treated gas containing odor components generated by the decomposition of fats, oils, proteins, starches, etc. is introduced into the upper space of the deodorization tower through the suction pipe, and deodorization is carried out. Water is sprayed from the upper space of the tower onto a contact layer using a corrosion-resistant metal mesh as a contact filter medium, and the treated gas is brought into contact with the sprayed water without passing through the contact layer to remove water-soluble odor components such as ammonia gas and sulfur dioxide gas. At the same time, a deodorizing liquid for decomposing water-insoluble odorous components is dropped onto the contact layer, and is diffused into the contact layer together with the sprayed water to decompose the water-insoluble odorous components of the treated gas, thereby deodorizing the water-insoluble odorous components after contacting the contact layer. Because the gas is discharged from the space below the contact layer through the exhaust pipe, it is generated in chain food stores, restaurants in the restaurant area, medical institutions, food manufacturing and other factories, offices, theaters, apartment complexes, etc. It is possible to efficiently and completely remove odor components generated by the decomposition treatment of oils and fats, white matter, starch, etc. in domestic wastewater purification equipment.

In particular, since odor components are removed by a contact layer using a corrosion-resistant metal mesh as a contact filter medium, the contact between the odor components and the spray water is good, and water-insoluble odor components dropped onto the contact layer are decomposed. Diffusion of the moist deodorizing liquid also improves, and deodorization by decomposition of water-insoluble odor components can be carried out efficiently. Furthermore, there is no need to replace the contact layer, odor components can be easily removed, and environmental pollution due to discharge of processing gas can be prevented.
