[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to an auxiliary pad that is used in conjunction with cloth diapers.

Recently, paper diapers have become popular and are convenient for disposable use, but the feel of paper diapers when applied is still not as good as that of traditional cloth diapers.
Another problem is that it is a heavy economic burden to use it every time. Cloth diapers are not easy to wash when they get dirty.

Therefore, in order to maintain the same feel as a cloth diaper, but mainly to make it easier to dispose of stool, we used a sheet-like auxiliary pad made of non-woven fabric (usually called a liner, about 30 cm long and 15 cm wide). Place a rectangular sheet on top of a cloth diaper and apply it to the human body, and when defecation occurs, wrap the feces in this sheet and dispose of it.Do not let the feces directly adhere to the cloth diaper to prevent stains on the cloth diaper. Products that have less water and are easier to wash are widely used.

By the way, conventional auxiliary sheets are made of wet sheets that are made using the same process as hand-made paper.
This wet sheet is manufactured by the same method as paper making, so if it is made to the thickness required for an auxiliary abutment piece, unevenness in the papermaking tends to occur, making it undesirable as an auxiliary abutment piece. For this reason, a laminated structure is created by stacking several thin sheets (usually about 3 sheets) to cover the irregularities in papermaking. However, when creating a laminated structure like this, each layer is made separately and then stacked. It has the disadvantage that it is not easy to manufacture because it requires a construction process, and it is very expensive.

Therefore, if a dry sheet is used that is made in a dry state while continuously supplying fibers, it is easy to manufacture and does not cause unevenness in papermaking, and it is economical because drying equipment etc. are not required. However, on the other hand, sheets made by dry method are given directionality in the direction in which the fibers are supplied, so when used in cloth diapers, moisture from urination will not flow in the direction of the fibers. There is a problem in that it runs off and moisture locally infiltrates, causing extreme discomfort to the recipient, such as an infant, a sick person, or a bedridden elderly person.

On the other hand, even with conventional wet sheets, the surface is pressed (embossed) to improve the texture.
However, in the conventional pressing process, the auxiliary abutment is formed parallel to the longitudinal or width direction, so water during urination is absorbed into the auxiliary abutment 1 as shown in Figure 5. The flow is concentrated in the longitudinal direction or the width direction, and there is a region where it does not penetrate into the area A in the figure of the auxiliary abutment piece 1, which has the disadvantage that it cannot penetrate evenly.

The present invention was developed with the aim of improving the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional technology, and when used on cloth diapers, water from urination is evenly absorbed over almost the entire area. To provide an auxiliary piece like this.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention applies a compressing process to a dry sheet formed in a dry state, which is tilted at a certain angle to the right with respect to its longitudinal axis, and with a space between each end. A large number of rows of right-slanted pressed parts are formed in parallel to each other over the entire surface of the sheet, and a left-slanted pressed part that slopes at a certain angle to the left is pressed between the ends of these right-slanted pressed parts. A large number of rows are formed in parallel to each other over the entire surface of the sheet, and the rows of left and right inclined pressing portions cross each other so that moisture extends in a zigzag pattern from the center to all diagonal directions.
It is characterized by being able to absorb water evenly.

For example, as schematically shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the dry sheet 2 includes self-fusing fibers 5 having a core of a low-melting resin 3 (eg, polyethylene) and a periphery of a high-melting resin 4 (eg, polypropylene). Supplied from
In the meantime, another fiber material 6 (for example, rayon fiber) is supplied and formed into a connected sheet having a uniform thickness, and this is pressurized with pressure heating rolls 7, 7 to reduce the amount of the self-fusing fiber 5. The melting point resin 3 is melted and the three are bonded together as an adhesive.

The dry sheet 2 is provided with a pressing section 9 as shown in FIG.

When urination occurs after the auxiliary pad 1 formed as described above is placed on a cloth diaper and applied to the human body, the non-squeezed portions around the squeezing portions 9A and 9B having different inclination directions are pressed against each other. Due to the presence of the parts 9A and 9B, they are connected in a zigzag pattern, and since they are oriented obliquely to the axis of the dry sheet 2 as a whole, moisture is slowly absorbed as shown by the arrow in Fig. 2. The water flows diagonally, and some of it also flows vertically and horizontally, gradually absorbing water and eventually permeating the entire sheet.

As described above, in the present invention, the direction of the compressed part that processes the dry sheet surface is formed short and inclined at a certain angle to the right and left with respect to the longitudinal axis of the sheet, and the end of the right-inclined compressed part There is a left inclined pressing section in between, and a right inclined pressing section exists between the ends of the left inclined pressing section, so that the rows of left and right inclined pressing sections cross each other, so that the directionality in the fiber direction is maintained during paper making. Even if it is a dry sheet that inevitably occurs,
Water from urination does not flow concentrated in the vertical or horizontal directions as in conventional methods, but a considerable amount flows diagonally, allowing water to be absorbed evenly over the entire surface, and bypassing each compression part when flowing. As a result, the water does not reach the edge of the sheet rapidly, and as a result, the entire area of the auxiliary abutment piece effectively contributes to water absorption, which has the excellent effect of not causing discomfort due to localized wetness. In addition, as mentioned above, even if the sheet that forms the base of the auxiliary piece is made by dry-forming, it can sufficiently achieve the desired moisture absorption effect, making it easy to manufacture the sheet itself and providing it at low cost. There is a great effect it can have.
