However, when monolithic refractories are packaged in bags and a number of days pass after shipping, the pot life (fluidity retention time after mixing with water) and curing time change during construction, reducing construction efficiency. do. This is because additives such as binders and peptizers cause changes in the monolithic refractories over time due to moisture absorption due to their deliquescent properties and reactions between additives. Additionally, additives such as cement and magnesia powder may become hydrated and lose their effect as hardeners.

However, in order not to reduce the operating rate of the furnace, the mixing and construction had to be done quickly, and there was a risk of forgetting to add additives or adding the wrong amount. Moreover, if the amount and types of additives to be added are large, it is troublesome for the operator.

Ta. This method eliminated the problem of forgetting to add additives or making mistakes in the amount of additives added, but new drawbacks occurred, such as the hassle of opening the sachets and the ease with which the sachets got mixed into the monolithic refractories. After further consideration, we found that by making the material of the sachet containing the additives water-soluble, there would be no problem in adding it to the mixer together with the monolithic refractories without opening the bag during water-mixing. Knowing this, we completed the present invention.

Large-sized container bags, which are large enough to accommodate containers, are generally made of sheets made of polypropylene, rubber, or the like. The monolithic refractory 1 is mainly composed of refractory material powder.

Specific examples of the additive 3 include binders such as cement, agnesia powder, phosphates, borates, silicates, and carbonates, deflocculants, etc., which are essential in the construction of monolithic refractories.

Those with relatively high deliquescent properties may be wrapped, and those that are not deliquescent may be mixed in the monolithic refractory. Also, when the amount of additive 3 is large, it may be divided into multiple packages.

In addition, any water-soluble material with a certain degree of strength can be used. The thickness is preferably 10 to 100μ. Various ways of wrapping can be considered. It may be simply folded and wrapped, but it is easier and faster to form the sheet into a bag shape in advance, add additive 3 to it, and seal the opening with a water-soluble adhesive or hot pressure bonding. .

シート4が破れるなどの心配もない。 In the bag 2 containing the monolithic refractory 1, the location where the binder 3 wrapped in the water-soluble sheet 4 is contained is not particularly limited, but it is preferably above the monolithic refractory 1. This is because when the bag 2 is opened, it is easy to confirm that the water-soluble sheet 4 is contained. Further, there is no fear that the water-soluble sheet 4 will be torn due to the weight of the monolithic refractory 1.

まつたくない。(Function) The monolithic refractory package configured as described above does not change over time because the additives are isolated by the water-soluble sheet 4, and the workability of the monolithic refractory can be stabilized. When water is added and kneaded before construction, the water-soluble sheet 4 is dissolved by the action of added water (usually 4 to 10 wt% applied externally to the monolithic refractory) and the additive 3 is dispersed, so that the water-soluble The sheet 4 is placed in the monolithic refractory 1 without taking any steps such as opening the package.
It can also be thrown into a mixer. Since the sheet 4 is water-soluble, even if it mixes into the monolithic refractory 1, it will not cause any harmful effects such as forming voids in the construction body.

This prevents the particles from lifting up, resulting in a more uniform construction.

After 6 months had passed, this monolithic refractory package was opened, mixed with 6 wt% of added water, and then poured into a pot. There was no noticeable change in pot life or curing time due to aging, and the results were very good. The workability was demonstrated. In addition, at this time, without opening the additive wrapped in a water-soluble sheet,
The sheet was put into a mixer together with the monolithic refractory, but the sheet immediately melted.
