(Background of the invention) If dust adheres to an insulator that supports a high-voltage line, there is a risk that the insulation properties of the insulator will be destroyed. Therefore, this kind of insulator is generally cleaned regularly. By the way, insulators installed on outdoor power transmission towers, etc., are generally cleaned using a brush while squirting water toward the insulators, but indoors at power plants and substations, cables and various equipment are cleaned. Because of this, it is extremely dangerous to clean these indoor insulators with water as described above. For this reason, conventionally, insulators installed indoors at power plants, substations, and other facilities were cleaned by wiping them with a rag after stopping power transmission. However, such a cleaning method has problems such as not only the cleaning work being troublesome but also the power transmission having to be stopped during the cleaning process.

(Summary of the invention) The present invention was developed against the background of the above-mentioned circumstances, and aims to provide a cleaning device that can clean insulators installed indoors at power plants, substations, etc. while the wires are still live. It was done for a purpose. More specifically, the object is to provide a cleaning device that allows the cleaning worker to easily clean the insulators without using electrically dangerous water and without using water that is electrically dangerous. do. To this end, the present invention attaches an air supply pipe to an operating rod made of an insulating material, provides a bendable part at the tip of the pipe, and provides a grounding member connected to the inside of the pipe. The rear end was connected to a high-pressure gas generator such as a compressor or gas cylinder. According to the cleaning device configured in this way, the operator holds the rear end of the operating rod, positions the bendable tip of the pipe to face the surface of the insulator to be cleaned, and drives the high-pressure gas generator. Dust adhering to the insulator surface can be blown off and cleaned by blowing high-pressure gas such as air or carbon dioxide gas from the tip. Therefore, with this cleaning device, there is no need to use water for cleaning, and the operator can clean the insulator from a distance from the insulator, so it can be safely cleaned even when the power line is in a live state without stopping power transmission. The work can be carried out, and even in the unlikely event that the pipe becomes electrically conductive due to accumulation of moisture in the pipe, there is no danger to the worker because a grounding member is provided.

FIG. 1 shows an apparatus for cleaning indoor live insulators according to the present invention, in which 1 is a long operating rod made of an insulating material, 2 is a flexible air supply pipe, and the pipe 2 is a stopper. It is attached along the operating rod 1 by means of a tool 3. As the air supply pipe 2, it is desirable to use something that allows the inside to be seen from the outside, such as a transparent vinyl tube, so that the inside of the pipe 2 can be checked to see if it is clogged with foreign matter or has dust attached. can be easily checked. pipe 2
The tip of the handle protrudes to the front of the operating rod 1 to form a bendable part 2a. 4 is a dehumidifier connected to the rear part of the pipe 2; 5 is a compressor as a high-pressure gas generator connected to the dehumidifier 4; and an opening/closing part 15 provided on the rear end holding part 1a of the operating rod 1.
By operating the compressor 5 with the fingertip of the hand holding the holding part 1a, the dry air is forced into the pipe 2 at high pressure and is blown out vigorously from the blow-off hole 2b at its tip. ing. 16 is a collar attached to the tip of the holding portion 1a. Reference numeral 6 denotes a grounding member, which is connected to a conductive member 7 such as a copper pipe inserted into the inside of the pipe 2 in front of the holding part 1a. Even if the inside of the operating rod 2 is electrically conductive, it is grounded to the ground to prevent a worker holding the operating rod 1 from getting an electric shock.

FIG. 2 shows how this cleaning device is used to clean an insulator 8 installed indoors at a power plant, substation, etc., and shows the holding part 1a of the operating rod 1.
in your hand, and place the tip outlet 2b of the pipe 2 close to the surface to be cleaned of the insulator 8, and open the opening/closing part 15.
By blowing air while operating the pipe, the dust a is scattered and cleaned, but since the tip of the pipe 2 is a bendable part 2a, it can be bent to accommodate the complicated external shape of the insulator 8. , the details can be thoroughly cleaned. 9 is a cable arranged in a side gutter 10 provided indoors. However, the dust a that has adhered to and solidified on the surface of the insulator 8 cannot be completely removed simply by blowing air as described above. Therefore, when cleaning and removing the dust a that has adhered and solidified on the surface of the insulator 8, the surface of the insulator 8 is rubbed with a brush or the like to loosen the dust a before blowing air. All you have to do is spray it.
