(Prior art) As a sliding roof device for vehicles, small ships, etc., gutter sections are provided in the front and rear direction on both sides of the roof opening, and sliding lids for opening and closing the opening are arranged on both the left and right sides. There is an outer slide type that is supported by a guide drive mechanism so that it can slide forward and backward, the sliding lid is opened and closed from the rear side of the opening, and the sliding lid moves on the roof top side. (For example, see Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-67820). In this type of lid, a sealing material such as a weather strip is interposed between the flange portions at both left and right ends of the sliding lid and the roof side to prevent rainwater from entering the gutter portion from the sliding portion.
