(Prior Art) FIGS. 1 and 2 show a conventional wet-type electrophotographic copying machine. The electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum 1 is developed with a developer supplied from a developer container 2 to a developing electrode plate 3, and is transferred onto copy paper by a transfer means (not shown) to obtain a copy. A cleaning blade 4 and a roller 5 are in contact with the photoreceptor drum 1, and the developer in the developer container 2 is supplied between the cleaning blade 4 and the roller 5 through a cleaning liquid supply pipe 6 to moisten the photoreceptor drum 1. This reduces friction and prevents damage to the contact edge surface between the upper surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 and the cleaning elastic blade 4, and also allows the removed material to flow out from the upper surface of the photoreceptor drum 1 along the cleaning blade 4 and is developed again. It is collected in liquid container 2. The tip of the cleaning liquid supply pipe 6 is connected to a supply elbow 6a, a plug 6b, and a tube 6c, and is fastened and assembled to a member (not shown) that applies pressure to the photosensitive drum 1 for cleaning, and is configured as a unit as a cleaning device. ing. On the other hand, on the developing device side, a pump supplies the developer to the developing electrode plate 3 and the liquid supply connector 7, and when the plug 6b is set and connected to the liquid supply connector 7, cleaning liquid is supplied. When the plug 6b and the liquid supply connector 7 are removed, the developing device unit and the cleaning device can be attached and detached separately, making maintenance etc. easy.

However, if the plug 6b and the liquid supply connector 7 are not set due to forgetting to set them, the liquid flows out from the opening 7a on the upper side of the liquid supply connector 7 as shown in FIG. 2 and is recycled to the developer container 2. When the plug 6b is set, the opening 7a is closed and the cleaning liquid is delivered to the side of the cleaning liquid supply pipe 6.
If the setting of the cleaning liquid is incomplete in the middle, the amount of cleaning liquid supplied will decrease. Even if you forget to set the plug or it is not set properly, the toner bottle cartridge 8 can be set, so the machine operates in a ready state for copying, and the cleaning liquid may not be supplied or be insufficiently supplied, causing damage to the photoreceptor surface. The disadvantages were that the blade was damaged and sludge was deposited on the contact area between the photoreceptor and the blade, resulting in staining of the machine and its surroundings.

(Purpose) The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional method by making it impossible to set the toner bottle cartridge when the plug of the cleaning liquid supply pipe is forgotten to be set in the connector or when it is set incompletely.

(Structure) The structure of the present invention will be explained with reference to an embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 to 6. Reference numeral 7 denotes a liquid supply connector communicating with the developer container 2, into which a plug 6b of the cleaning liquid supply pipe 6 is inserted and set. Reference numeral 10 denotes a detection lever for detecting the set state of the plug 6b and the liquid supply connector 7;
It can reciprocate from side to side on the table 12 assembled above, and is always urged toward the liquid supply connector 7 side by a spring 13. 10a is a vertical plate of the detection lever 10, and an engagement recess 10a' is formed in the upper edge thereof.
Reference numeral 10b is an engagement piece bent upward from the right end of the detection lever 10, and a notch 10b' is formed at the right end edge. 14 is a toner bottle cartridge, and when setting the plug 6b of the cleaning liquid supply pipe 6 to the liquid supply connector 7, use the handle 14a as shown in Fig. 3.
is held in the non-set position by operating the An engagement pin 14b is provided on the top surface of the toner bottle cartridge 14.
is installed protrudingly.

When the cleaning liquid supply pipe 6 is not set, the detection lever 10 is pulled to the right by the spring 13 as shown in FIG.
The engagement pin 14b of the toner bottle cartridge 14 is located to the left of the engagement recess 10a' of the detection lever 10 and is held in a non-engaged state. When setting, the detection lever 10 shown in FIG. 4 is pressed to the left as shown in FIG. 3 against the elasticity of the spring 13 while being set. When the plug 6b is set correctly, the notch 10b' of the detection lever 10 properly engages with the cleaning liquid supply pipe 6 as shown in FIG. When the bottle cartridge 14 is rotated 90 degrees upward, the engagement pin 14b engages with the engagement recess 10a', allowing the toner bottle cartridge 14 to be set in a predetermined position.

However, if the plug 6b is incompletely set midway, the edge of the engaging piece 10b will be attached to the plug 6b as shown in FIG.
The notch 1 of the engagement piece 10b comes into contact with the large diameter portion 6b' of the engagement piece 10b.
0b' does not enter the cleaning liquid supply pipe 6 and is stopped. At this time, the engagement pin 14b does not match the engagement recess 10b', and the toner bottle cartridge 1
4 cannot be closed. The same thing will happen if the notch 10b' of the detection lever 10 hits the small diameter part 6b'' of the plug 6b and stops, and if you forget to set the plug, the situation will be as shown in Fig. 4, and the toner bottle cartridge 14 will naturally be closed. I can't.

If the amount of cleaning liquid supplied is too large, there is a problem that it may flow out to areas other than the cleaning section, so it is necessary to stably supply the amount of liquid that is sufficient to perform the cleaning function without causing such problems. As shown in FIG. 7, the function can be achieved up to about 500 c.c./min as shown in FIG. 7, but if the amount is less than that, poor cleaning will occur. In order to satisfy 500c.c./min, the amount of leakage from the liquid supply connector 7 must be approximately 2 mm or less, but according to the embodiment of the present invention, this can be easily managed, and moreover, it When the liquid supply connector 7 is properly set, the notch 10b' of the detection lever 10 is locked to prevent the plug 6b from coming off.

(Effects) According to the present invention, in a wet-type electrophotographic copying machine that develops an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor surface with a liquid, and then cleans and reuses the photoreceptor surface, the liquid is supplied by setting the plug of the cleaning liquid supply pipe. A detection lever that always covers the upper part of the connector is provided in a movable manner, a toner bottle cartridge that can be moved between a set position and a non-set position, and an engagement pin and an engagement recess are provided in each of the detection levers, so that the plug engages the detection lever. When pressed and moved and properly set in the liquid supply connector, the engagement protrusion and engagement recess engage,
Since the toner bottle cartridge can be set, if the plug is not set properly, the toner bottle cartridge cannot be set and copying will definitely be impossible, resulting in poor cleaning, damage to the photoconductor surface or blade, and exposure to light. This prevents sludge buildup on the body and the blade contact area and various problems caused by it. When the plug is set correctly, it locks into place and provides a stable supply of cleaning liquid. There is no need to provide any special means such as
