形成する車両のフエンダー内の上部に上方を向け
て配設し、且つ、外気導入口は車体後方に向かつ
て斜めに開口しており、この外気導入口の前方側
の上記フエンダー内に該前方からの水及び塵埃の
侵入を妨げる遮蔽板を設けることにより達成でき
る。以下、第2〜6図を参照して本考案を説明す
る。

ンダーインナ12に嵌合固定されている(第3図
参照)。13はL字形状のダクトであり、第3図
に示す如くフエンダーインナ12にインロー14
で嵌合固定されて水、塵埃等が侵入しにくい閉空
間を形成するフエンダー内に収納され、基端はエ
アクリーナダクト10に接続されている。したが
つて、フエンダー内の外気がダクト13→エアク
リーナダクト10→エアクリーナノーズ11→エ
アクリーナ1の経路で導かれる。ダクト13はそ
の外気導入口13aが隙間を残してフエンダーア
ウタ15の上部に対向するよう配置されている。
しかも、第4図、第5図の例を参照して後述する
ように、外気導入口13aは車体後方に向かつて
斜めに開口している。16は遮蔽板であり、外気
導入口13aの前側方にて、できるだけフエンダ
ーアウタ15の上部一杯に位置するようフエンダ
ーインナ12に固定されている。なお、第3図
中、18は締金具である。

ジンのウオターハンマや焼付損傷を防止でき、し
かも吸入空気は車体後方からダクトに導入される
ために、車速、風速等の影響を受けることなく安
定して空気を吸入できる。更に、フエンダーアウ
タ15の上部近くに外気導入口13aが開口・設
置されているので、水に対する落差も十分とれ
る。また、遮蔽板16は外気導入口13a付近の
一部だけ閉じれば良いので小型で済み、フエンダ
ーアウタ15とのシーリングも容易であり、且つ
フエンダーインナ12とは溶接付けすることによ
り一体塗装も可能であるから、単品の防錆処理が
不要となつてコスト的に有利である。

との干渉によるキシミ音を防止できる。また遮蔽
板16は図示の如き平板のものだけでなく、外気
導入口13aの側方をある程度囲むように曲面状
に形成したものでも良い。
