寸法X1だけ摩耗しかつ偏摩耗σ1が生じ、ダミー摺動
部5は寸法×2だけ摩耗しかつ偏摩耗σ2が生じている

(発明が解決しようとする課題)
ところで、従来の磁気ヘッドの場合、ヘッドコアを安価
であるが耐摩耗性に劣るパーマロイで構成し、ダミー摺
動部をヘッドコアと同程度の耐摩耗性の材料で構成する
と、磁気ヘッドの使用に伴いテープ摺動面が全体に亙り
一気に摩耗してしまい、寿命が短い欠点がある。しかも
、t55図のようにテープ摺動面2が平均的に減るよう
にみえても微視的にはかなり大きな偏摩耗σ1.σ2が
発生し、ヘッドコア部分の偏摩耗σ1では出力低下、高
域特性劣化を生じ、ダミー摺動部部分の偏摩耗σ2によ
って磁気テープ走行時に振動を発生し、ワウ7ラツクを
