Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、インクリボンに関し、特に複数の色のインク
を印字用紙に付着させるためのカラーインクリボンに関
する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種のカラーインクリボンは、第２図に示すよ
うに、ベースフィルム上に付着させたカラーインクと、
このカラーインクの色と色との境界にカラーインクの色
を示すバーコードを付け、バーコードをサーチすること
により、カラーインクの境界を認識し、バーコードのパ
ターンにより、色の種類を認識していた。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上述した従来のカラーインクリボンは、色の境界に色を
示すバーコードがあるため、カラーチエツクをするため
には色のかわりめまで巻き取らなければならない。また
、バーコードの分だけリボンが長くなり、リボンが長く
なるとリボンの巻きが悪くなあったり、リボンを巻く速
度が速くなり、バーコードが読みとりにくくなるという
欠点があった。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明のカラーインクリボンは、バーコードをカラーイ
ンクの上端又は下端に配置したことを特徴とする。
〔実施例〕
次に本発明の一実施例について図面を参照して説明する
。
第１図は本発明を熱転写プリンタのインクリボンに適用
した場合の一実施例である。カラーインクリボン１は複
数の色のカラーインクを有しており、その色を示すバー
コード２がカラーインク塗布個所の上端又は下端に設け
られている。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように、本発明は、カラーインクリボンに
おいて、色と色の間にあるバーコードをインクリボンの
上端又は下端に付けることにより、色の終わりまで巻き
とらずにカラーチエツクができる。また、色と色の間に
バーコードを付けるより、リボンの長さが短かくなり、
リボンの巻きがよくなり、バーコードが読みやすくなる
という効果がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. ベースフィルム上に塗布されたカラーインクと、前記ベ
    ースフィルムの前記カラーインクの上端又は下端に配置
    され前記カラーインクの色を示すバーコードとを有する
    ことを特徴とするカラーインクリボン。
