It is difficult to obtain a finish with a uniform concentration due to the uneven flow rate and the effects of vortices that occur in the liquid.

In particular, halogen ions are liberated from silver halide crystals being developed into the developing solution, and these tend to appear as drag lines. Since these drag lines appear as a trail in the image area and cause uneven development, various measures have been taken to quickly remove the halogen ions.

に設計するには容易なことではなかつた。 Conventionally, a typical method has been devised to create a liquid flow in the developer near the film surface, maintain the uniformity of the flow velocity, and prevent drag lines. As stated in the technology, inside the rack that transports the film in a U-turn with the photoresist surface inside,
A suction box that sucks the developer is installed between the rectifying plate that also serves as a guide and the side plate, and the suction box has many liquid suction ports that suck the developer between the rectifying plate and the film being transported. Similarly, on the inside of the rack, a liquid discharge pipe for discharging the developer is installed between the side plates, and the liquid discharge pipe has many liquid discharge ports that provide a uniform flow of liquid to the surface of the film being transported. Like the invention disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 55-52059,
A known method is to transport the film in a U-turn with the photoresist surface of the film facing outward, thereby creating a developer flow in the developing tank along the photoresist surface of the film and substantially perpendicular to the direction of transport. However, no matter which method is used, it is not easy to design a device that significantly reduces the drag line.

A developing processing method characterized by passing a photosensitive material through a liquid and passing it upwardly into a developing solution that sucks the developing solution near the photosensitive film surface of the photosensitive material, and for carrying out this method, In a development processing apparatus comprising a means for conveying a photosensitive material in a U-turn into a developing tank and a means for circulating a developer in the developing tank, a liquid discharged to stir the developer on the conveying path side of the photosensitive material being conveyed downward. At the same time, a liquid suction port is provided on the conveyance path side of the photosensitive material being conveyed upwardly, facing the outside of the conveyance path, for sucking and discharging the developer near the photosensitive film surface of the photosensitive material, and from the liquid suction port. This development processing apparatus is characterized in that the discharged developer is supplied from the liquid discharge port.

ようにするものである。 That is, due to the characteristics of the development of photosensitive materials for printing plate making, the present invention passes the first half of the total development time, which affects uneven development during development, through an agitating flow, so that the image is rapidly exposed and developed from the silver halide crystals. The second half of the total development time, in which drag lines occur due to bromine dragging or the like due to halogen ions that interfere with the photoresist film surface, is passed through the flow that sucks the developer near the surface of the photoresist film.
