Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a building panel with good yield while easily forming an arbitrary design such as a curved line, by carving a groove in the surface of a thin wooden board to apply a predetermined design. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 3 are carved in the surface of the thin wooden board 2 bonded to the surface of a base material 1 to form circular designs. The carving of the grooves 3 can be performed by an NC rooter or a band rooter and may be performed before or after the bonding of the thin wooden board 2 but, in order to perform stable rooter work, said carving is pref. performed after the bonding of said board 2 to the base material 1. Since the grooves are carved in the thin wood board to form the design, an arbitrary design can be formed and, since the designs are formed by the grooves, a three- dimensional feeling is imparted. Since there is no loss in the thin wooden board to be used, yield is not lowered.

Traditional designs for wooden components are mostly made of straight lines that are parallel or perpendicular to each other, and they are rarely designed with straight lines that intersect at an angle or with curved lines, so the design tends to be monotonous. Ta. This is because designs using diagonal straight lines pose numerous problems (productivity, yield, etc.) in the manufacture of building boards, and curves in particular are almost impossible to manufacture.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing building boards that allows arbitrary designs such as curves to be easily created and that has a high yield.

According to this invention, since the design is formed by carving grooves on a thin wooden board, any design can be created, for example, any shape such as a circle, a triangle, a diamond, a flower shape, a star shape, a curved line, or a straight line. design is possible. Also, since it is formed with grooves, it has a three-dimensional design.

The groove 3 can be carved using an NC router, a hunt router, or the like. Although the grooves 3 may be carved either before or after the thin wood board 2 is bonded, it is preferable to carve the grooves 3 after bonding the thin wood board 2 to the base material 1 in order to perform stable router work.
