Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、ひとつの陰極線管（以下ＣＲＴと略称する）
画面に複数の映像を同時に表示することができるように
したテレビシロン受像機に関するものである。
従来の技術 テレビジョン受像機の入力ソースとしては、−般のテレ
ビ放送のみでなく、衛星放送、テレテキスト放送、キャ
プテンシステム、コンピューターのディスプレー用、Ｖ
ＣＲその他多岐にわたり、多数の信号をディスプレーす
ることが要求されている。これらの情報のなかには互い
に関連をもつ内容のものもあり、一つの画面の中に同時
にディスプレーしたほうが好ましい場合がある０例えば
、テレテキストの字幕放送等であり、又、別の内容を同
時に見たいという場合もある０例えばスポーツ番組を見
ていて、その間にニュースを読みたい場合、テレテキス
ト文字を同時に表示する必要がある。仁のような場合、
ピクチャーインピクチャとして映像の中に文字を重畳す
る方法、又は文字を画面の一部を切欠いて、そこにはめ
込む方法が用いられる。
発明が解決しようとする課題 しかし、この方法は映像の一部分が文字によｐ欠損し、
映像の完全な再現という点で欠点が大きい０ 本発明は、一つのディスプレー装置を用いて、画面の欠
損を発生させないで、しかも前述の要求を満すマルチデ
ィスプレー可能なテレビジョン受像機を提供する・もの
である。
課題を解決するための手段 通常、陰極線管（ＣＲＴ）は横縦比４：３のものが横長
方向で使用されるが、本発明ではこのＣＲＴを縦長方向
で使用する。この方向に配置し、その画面の短辺を４と
し縦方向に３の長さの所で区切って横長の第１のディス
プレーエリアを一つ作れる。その縦方向の寸法は３×％
＝２．２５となる。残りの部分からガートバンド（境界
４１り部分を除き、残りの部分の縦寸法を基準に横縦比
４：３の横長の画面を作り、第２のデイスプレ一部とす
る。更に、残りの部分からガートバンドを除いて第３の
デイスプレ一部を作る。すなわち、大小各１つのデイス
プレ一部と、たて長の小デイスプレ一部との合計３つの
デイスプレ一部を作る０作用 このようにすると、たとえば、通常の４：３のアスペク
ト比の画面のテレビ信号は水平走査線はＮ　Ｔ　Ｓ　Ｏ
（Ｄ場合１１１６２５本、ＰＡＬ／ＳＩＣＣＡＭの場合
は６２６本であり、ガートバンドの部分の走査線数は約
２５本（ＮＴＳＣ）または３０本（ＰＡＬ／ｆ３’ｌｌ
ｃＡＭ　）とするので、ａ走ｉｓ数は５２５Ｘ２＋２５
　（ＮＴＳＣ）、または６２６Ｘ２＋３０（ＰＡＬ／Ｓ
Ｒ（ｌｊＡＭ）＝１０７５本（ＮＴＳＧ　）、’！たは
１２ａｏ本（ＰＡＬ／ＳＫＣＡＭ）となる。一方、垂直
周波数はｅ　ｏ　Ｈｚ　（ＮＴＳＯ）または５ｏＨｚ　
（ＰＡＬ／ＳＩＥＣＡＭ）となるように選定すると、水
平周波数が算出される。すなわち、ＮＴＳＧの場合は１
０７６Ｘ６０＝６４．６１Ｈ２。
ＰＡＬ／ＳＥＣＡＭの場合は６４　ＫＨｚとなる。
しかし第１のデイスプレ一部と、第２のデイスプレ一部
の画面の大きさが異るので、一定の速度で走査すると第
２の画面を走査するとき一定め割合で走査線を間引く操
作が必要となるが比較的容易に回路を構成できしかも画
質をあまり損なわないように、垂直走査スピードのみを
第１デイスプレ一部と第２デイスプレ一部の境界部で切
換え、水平は一定、スピードで走査する等の方法にすれ
ばよい。
なお、この垂直走査速度は従来の５０７６０Ｈｚに限定
される必要はなく、任意に選定することが可能である。
特に５０Ｈｚの場合はフリッカ−が感じられるので、こ
れを除去するためにこの倍程度の周波数に選ばれる場合
もある。同様に水平走査速度についても、走査線の荒さ
を減少させるために同一ラインを二度走査し走査線数を
前記の水平走査線の２倍位の本数で走査する場合もある
０ 実施例 第１図にＣＲＴ画面へのディスプレーの状態を、第２図
に本発明の一例のブロックダイアグラムをそれぞれ示す
。第２図において１０ｔｉチユーナで、１ｏｖ、１ｏム
はそのベースバンド出力で、それぞれコンポジットビデ
オ信号及び音声信号である。
１１．１２．１３は外部入力信号で１１Ｖ、１２ｖ　、
　１ｓｖはコンポジットビデオ信号、１１人。
１２ム、１３ムは音声信号であるが、この場合−収約に
はすでにデコードされた２チヤンネルのステレオ信号に
なっている。従って、信号１６ムは音声信号１０ムが選
択されているときは１チヤンネルの信号であり、それ以
外のときは２チヤンネルの信号であるが図面を簡単にす
るためにここでｄ１チャンネルのみで示しである。１５
は入力音声信号を切換えるためのスイッチである。１４
は外部入力映像信号１１．１２．１３を切換えるスイッ
チである。
２１．２２，２３はムＤ変換器で、ムＤ１．ムＤ２はビ
デオ信号を、ムＤ３は音声信号を、それぞれディジタル
変換する。３１．３２はフィールド：又は７レームメモ
リーで、一画面をメモリーする。
４１．４２はそのコントローラで、入力映像信号をフィ
ールドメモリ３１．３２に記録し、記録した信号を読出
す制御を行う。３３はディスプレー用のメモリー、４３
はそのコントロールをするコントローラである。これら
コントローラ４１．４２の出力はパスライン４１０で接
続されており、これらは更にテレテキストデコーダ４４
．カラープロセッサ６１．ビデオプロセッサ６２に接続
されている。
３４はテレテキストのページメモリーで、テレテキスト
信号を、記録するためのメモリーである０更にテレテキ
ストデコーダ４４の出力はマトリクス回路７１に加えら
れる。カラープロセッサ６１゜ビデオプロセッサ６２の
出力はＤム変換器６１゜６２を通り、マトリクス回路７
１に加えられ、Ｒ，Ｇ、Ｂのアナログ信号に変換増幅さ
れ、ディスプレー８１に加えられる。
一方、６４は走査のための信号を発生させるプロセッサ
で、６４Ｈは水平走査信号、６４ｖは垂直走査信号であ
る。この出力は増幅器６６により増幅され、偏向ヨーク
８０に加えられる。音声系はムＤ変換器２３によりディ
ジタル化され、ステレオデコーダ２６を通り、ステレオ
信号あるいは二重信号に変換される。前述のように外部
入力信号は一般的にはステレオ信号（２チヤンネルの信
号）であるので、ステレオデコーダはスイッチ２６１５
が音声信号１０ムを選択したとき以外は不要となるので
、そのときはバイパスされる。６３は音声プロセッサで
音量、バランス、バス、トレブルなどのコントロールを
する。６３はＤム変換器で、ディジタル信号をアナログ
信号に変換するためのものである。この出力はパワーア
ンプ７２゜７３を介してスピーカ８１．８２を駆動する
０２４はメモリー３１．３２．３３に書込み、読出し等
を行うためのクロック発生器で、２６はその基準となる
発振器である０ ９０はシステムをコントロールスルマイクロプロセッサ
で、９１はそのクロック発振器、９２はキーマトリクス
である。マイクロプロセッサ９０からの制御信号は図を
簡単にするためにすべて′９スライン方式で制御する例
示にしである。黒い太線が制御用パスラインである０ 次に、その動作を説明する０ 今、スイッチ１４が図の様なスイッチ位置に設定されて
いるとすると、メモリ３１にはチューナ１０からの映像
信号１０ｖがムＤ変換器２１．コントローラ４１を通り
、ディジタル的に記録される〇一方、メモリ３２には外
部入力信号１１のうちの映像信号１１ｖがムＤ変換器２
２．コントローラ４２を通り、ディジタル的に記録され
る０又これらの信号にテレテキスト信号があればデコー
ダ４４によりテレテキスト信号のうちの希望のベージが
キーマトリクス９２で選択されページメモリー３４に記
録される。一方、マイクロプロセッサ９０により制御さ
れたオンスクリーンディスプレー信号は、キャラクタ−
ジェネレータを内蔵したディスプレーコントローラによ
り、文字信号をメモリ３３に記録する。
次に、読出す順序を説明する。
第１図に示すようなディスプレーをすると仮定し、第１
デイスプレ一部Ｐ１にチューナ１０からの信号、第２デ
イスプレ一部Ｐ２にそのテレテキスト信号、第３デイス
プレ一部Ｐ３にステータスディスプレーをすると仮定す
ると、前述の水平周波数（ｓ　４．６ＫＨｚまたは６４
ＫＨ２）ｉ／（−（、まず第一にメモリ３１の内容が読
出され画面に映像が表示される。次にメモリ３２の内容
が第１図のＸ部を走査する期間に読出され、文字などに
変換され、第２デイスプレ一部Ｐ２にテレテキスト画面
がディスプレーされ、１Ｈの残りの時間にメモリ３３の
内容が読出され文字などに変換され第３デイスプレ一部
Ｐ３の部分にプログラム番号、Ｄｉｅの状態、入力スイ
ッチの状態などを示すステータスが表示される。この場
合、メモリの読出しがメモリ３１から３３／３４に切換
えられたときにガートバンド走査期間内に垂直の振幅を
小さくする必要がある。これはＰｌよりＰ２の画面面積
が小さいので、垂直方向の振幅を小さくしなければなら
ないからである。
この制御はプロセッサ６４により読出しクロック信号か
ら作られた水平同期信号の数をカウントすれば、その切
換位置は容易に決定することができる。この出力信号が
５４Ｖであり、この波形は第３図Ｖに示すような波形と
なる。又このスイッチのタイミングに同期した信号が６
４８であり、第３図Ｓに一例を示すような波形であり、
これは輝度の切換用などに利用される。
信号５４Ｂはブランキング信号でガートバンドの部分を
黒くするために通常の水平及び垂直ブランキング信号に
加えている。黒板外の色にする場合はＲ，Ｇ、！回路の
部分にこの信号を加えればよいことはいうまでもない。
この波形例を第３図Ｂに示す。
一方、水平方向は偏向速度を変えるのは容易ではないの
で、一定の速度で走査し、メモリを読出すときにメモリ
３３とメモリ３４を一体のメモリと考えて、メモリロケ
ーションによりメモリ３３とメモリ３４とを区別すれば
水平方向の走査速度はＰ２　、Ｐ３の位置によりスイッ
チする必要はない。しかしＰ２とＰ３の間にガートバン
ドを設ける場合はこの境界位置に相当する場所にブラン
キング信号を入れる必要がある。この信号は６４Ｂの中
に含まれる。
９ｏは本構成のシステムをコントロールするマイクロプ
ロセッサであるが、チューニング、Ｄム０のコントロー
ルなど通常のコントロールの外に、メモリ３１，３２．
３３への書込みあるいは読出しの順序の変更を行ないデ
ィスプレー位置を変更したり、画面を入れかえたりする
機能、読出しの速度の変更指令、コントローラ４１．４
２の出力切換先、ステータスディスプレーのコントロー
ル。
テレテキスト、ステレオデコーダのコントロールなどを
するためのもので、これらは入力キーマトリクス９２で
制御される。また、入力ポートの一部を利用してリモー
トコントロールにて同様のコントロールをすることもも
ちろん可能である。
かかる構成によれば、画像の一部分を欠くことなしに２
画面＋スデータスディスプレーが一つのＣＲＴで可能で
ある。
従来のオンスクリーンディスプレーは画面の一部を犠牲
にしてステータスを表示しており、画像の妨げになるた
め、文字を小さくしたり、消したりしている。しかし定
常的に表示したいような機能もあＶ（例えばいまステレ
オ放送であるか否かの表示、又ステレオの場合ステレオ
モードで聴いているか否かの表示など）、これらはオフ
スクリーン表示をせざるを得ない。又テレテキスト放送
を表示したい場合も同様で、現在は全画面テレテキスト
にしてしまうか、放送画面にテレテキスト画面を重ねて
表示するしかない。この重ねる場合、放送画面が著しく
さまたげられ実用的でない。本発明によればこの様な不
都合は全くなく、どの画面を見るかは視聴者（複数であ
っても）の自由である。
更に、２つの画面はサイズと場所が異るので、これらの
位置を入替えることにより、どちらの画面をより大きな
画面とするかも自由に選べる。更にそのレイアウトも自
由に選定出来る。
デイスプレ一部Ｐ１とＰ２の内容を入れかえるためには
前述の例でメモリの読出す順序を変えればよい。すなわ
ち、初めにメモリ３４をメモリ３１を読んだときのクロ
ックで読めば第１デイスプレ一部Ｐ１にメモリ３４の内
容が表示され、次にメモリ３２／メモリ３３を読んだと
きのクロックでメモリ３３を先に、次にメモリ３３／メ
モリ３１を１Ｈ期間内に時分割で読み、これを垂直方向
に５２ε本または６２６本で走査すれば画面の下左側デ
イスプレ一部Ｐ３に（ステータスディスプレー）が表示
され、下布側にテレビ画面が前よりも小さな画面として
表示される。
同様にして上下の画面を入替えることも可能で、表示位
置を視聴者の意志により選択することができる。
一つのＣＲＴＬか使用していないのでテレビセットを小
型で、しかもマルチ画面とすることが可能である。更に
、これはスピーカの配置においても、画面がたて長でス
リムであるため両サイドに配置することが容易となり、
形状が大型化することなく比較的大きなスピーカーを配
置することができるので、セットの音質の向上において
も有利である。
更に、本システムは１フレーム（又はフィールド）バッ
ファーメモリを所有しているのでクロック周波数及び読
出しのタイミングを適当に選択することにより、画面を
オーバースキャンをしながらでも画面を１００％ディス
プレーすることも可能である。
発明の効果 以上のように、本発明によれば、画像を欠くことなく２
画面とステータスディスプレーとをひとつの表示部で表
示することができる。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）一つのディスプレー装置の陰極線管をその画面を
    縦長にするように配置し、この画面中の一部を横長の画
    面にするように分割してこれを第１のディスプレーエリ
    アとし、更に画面の残りの部分を横長になるように分割
    してこれを第２のディスプレーエリアとし、それらの残
    りの部分を第３のディスプレーエリアとしたテレビジョ
    ン受像機。
  2. （２）第１または第２のディスプレーエリアに映像を表
    示し、第２または第１のディスプレーエリアに第１また
    は第２の映像に関連したあるいはこれを補足した情報を
    映出するようにした請求項１記載のテレビジョン受像機
    。
  3. （３）第３のディスプレーエリアに第１と第２のディス
    プレーの少くとも一方の状態を示す情報を映出するよう
    にした請求項１または２記載のテレビジョン受像機。
