Rainwater seeps into the gaps, causing corrosion of parts of the house and other damage. For this reason, it is necessary to install a ridge cover that spans two adjacent ridges.

In the event of relative displacement between the two houses due to an earthquake, uneven ground subsidence, etc., the end plate E of the cover could be pushed and destroyed by the house.

The ridge cover is characterized in that separate end caps are slidably provided at both ends of the ridge cover, and the end caps are biased by springs so as to always come into contact with the house. be.

are protruding adjacent to each other. Reference numeral 3 denotes an interior member fixed to the upper surface of the ridge 2 of one house 1 with bolts 4, etc., as shown in FIG. The upper part of the ridge 2A is also covered in a non-contact manner, and its length is formed to be slightly shorter than the length of the ridge. Note that the interior member 3 may be formed of one long member as described above, or may be formed of a plurality of short members separated by a certain distance.

Furthermore, a hook 10 as shown in FIG. 5 is fixed to the inner surface of the front and rear plates 9 of the end cap 7 near the end plate 8, and a hook 10 is also fixed to the inner surface of the front and rear plates 6 of the ridge cover 5, facing the hook 10. A hook 10A is fixed, and a spring 11 is installed between the hooks 10 and 10A.
is stretched, and the end cap 7 is urged toward the ridge cover 5. Note that the end cap 7 is overlapped with the ridge cover 5 at an appropriate length so that it will not come off even if the end cap 7 slides slightly.

The lower edge of the front and rear plates 6 of the ridge cover 5 is connected to the protective cover 1.
The end cap 7 can be inserted into the ridge cover 5 while following the upper surface of the horizontal side of the L-shape 2, and the end cap 7 can be prevented from floating upward.

Reference numeral 16 denotes a drainage gutter having a U-shaped cross section that is provided along the edges of both ends of the ridge cover 5, and a slightly longer portion at both lower ends is cut off to prevent the operation of the spring 11. It is designed not to interfere.

いる。 Next, the operation of the ridge cover device of this example will be explained. As shown in FIG. 6, the end cap 7 of the ridge cover 5 attached to the ridge 2 of the house 1 is
1 toward the ridge cover 5, and the water return member 13 comes into contact with the end of the house 1, 1A.
The function is to block rainwater that blows in from the ends of the roof and prevent it from entering the interior. In addition, rainwater that blows in from the gap between the overlapping part of the ridge cover 5 and the end cap 7 enters the drainage gutter 16, flows through the gutter, and falls onto the roof from both ends, so that the rainwater flows into the two houses. This prevents it from entering the 1.1A gap.

保護する。 If two adjacent houses 1 and 1A move differently due to earthquakes, uneven ground subsidence, etc., and the edge of one house moves outward from the edge of the other house, , the end cap 7 is moved outward by the edge of the house, but does not come out of the overlap with the ridge cover 5. Further, when the house returns to its original position, the end cap 7 also returns to its original position by the action of the spring 11. Therefore, even if the two houses are relatively displaced in any direction, the above-mentioned operation is repeated, and the end cap and ridge cover perform their waterproofing without being destroyed. In addition, if the house is moved, water return member 1
3 prevents rainwater from entering, and also acts as a cushion to protect the end plate 8 of the end cap 7.

れる。 In addition, since the top surface of the interior member 3 has a mountain shape, and the top surface of the ridge cover 5 also has a mountain shape along the top surface of the interior member 3, rainwater that has fallen onto the cover falls back and forth. It falls onto the roof and drains away.

破壊されることがない利点がある。 That is, the present invention provides a ridge cover on the rooftops of two adjacent houses so as to cover the two adjacent ridges together, and also provides end caps on both ends of the ridge cover so as to be slidable and overlapping. Since the end cap is biased toward the ridge cover by the spring, when two houses are displaced relative to each other due to an earthquake or the like, the end cap is moved outward by the end of the house, and As the house is restored, the end cap returns to its original position by the force of the spring, so the end cap has the advantage of not being destroyed.

実用性に富む考案であるということができる。 Furthermore, since the end cap is fitted onto the ridge cover in a superimposed manner, it has the effect of preventing rainwater from entering even when the end cap is moved, and the present invention can be said to be extremely practical.
