Conventionally, when pasting diagrams, pattern photographs, etc. onto copy manuscripts, printing plates, etc., the thickness of the pasted paper will be reduced.
If a step is created and the image is copied directly onto paper or film using a copying machine, a shadow will appear due to the step.

This invention was devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to provide a tape for removing shadows that can extremely easily erase shadows caused by differences in level.

This invention for the above purpose has an adhesive layer on the back side that can be attached to the original version and a thick pasted object such as a photograph superimposed on the original version, and on the side of the pasted object. The gist is that it consists of an extremely thin, white, opaque film that eliminates shadows.

以下この考案を図示の実施例により詳説する。 This invention will be explained in detail below with reference to illustrated embodiments.

As shown in FIG. 1, the shadow removing tape 1 is made of a film 1a made of a synthetic resin such as polyester, and an adhesive layer 1b is applied to the back surface of the film 1a. Further, the film 1a is extremely thin, white and opaque.

As shown in FIG. 2, this shadow-removing tape 1 is pasted over the periphery of the paste 3 placed over the original version 2 and the original version 2.

The pasted matter 3 is often made of thick paper with photographs, diagrams, patterns, etc., and even if it is glued to the surface of the original version 2, the thickness of the pasted matter 3 causes shadows. 4 (see Figure 4). this shadow 4
is proportional to the difference in level; if the difference in level is large, the shadow 4 will be large, and if the difference in level is small, the shadow 4 will also be small.

However, when the shadow portions on the side edges of the object 3 are covered by pasting the shadow removing tape 1, the portions where the shadows 4 are caused by the diagonally disposed white opaque film 1a are eliminated.

FIG. 4 shows the difference between a soft film and a hard film. When the film 1a is soft, as shown in FIG. A shadow may appear.

On the other hand, in the case of hard film 1a, as shown in FIG. 4B, the film 1a forms a flat inclined surface,
There are no shadows on the film.

Therefore, it is preferable to use a hard film 1a, and if the angle of attachment of the film 1a is made as large as possible than the angle of incidence from a light source such as a copying machine, that is, if it is attached widely, no shadow will be produced.

As mentioned above, this device can remove the shadow on the side of the pasted object due to the difference in level just by pasting, so it does not require the trouble of filling in the difference in level, and Since it is not affected by the thickness of the plate, it is possible to shorten the working time and reduce the cost of making the block. In addition, since a shadow-removing tape can be obtained by simply applying an adhesive layer to an extremely thin, white, opaque film, it has the advantage of being easy to manufacture and inexpensive.
