【考案の詳細な説明】
この考案は、内筒1、中筒2、外筒3などを備
えた複筒形の燃焼筒で、上部に二次空気を供給し
て白光炎燃焼をさせる燃焼筒に係るものでこの種
白光炎燃焼をする方式のものは白光炎の先が全周
に円く広がるのが最も理想的であるが、第2図に
示す如く、炎を上から見た場合、クロスピン7の
直上部で炎が4つに割れたり、炎の端部が一方が
短かく、他方が長くというようにバラツク欠点が
ある。この理由は燃焼筒を一体化するためクロス
ピン7を用いるのであるが、クロスピン7の外径
より、内筒1、中筒2、外筒3に穿つたクロスピ
ン透過孔1′,2′,3′の径が若干大きいため第
1図に示す矢印の如くこの透過孔1′,2′,3′
から余分の空気が入り、燃焼が早く完了し、燃焼
をアンバランスにするからである。このバランス
を調整するため、各種の空気制流板、制御板と名
付けられるものが付属しているが、根本的解決に
至つていない。本案では中筒2と外筒3との間隙
に設けた制御板5の外縁と中筒2との間隙aに変
化をもたせる、即ちクロスピン7の上部の間隙a
を狭くすることにより、中内筒1,2へ入る余分
な空気に対し、この間隙aをクロスピン7の上部
で狭くして中筒2の外方から入る空気の流れを調
節することにより、中・内筒1,2の間隙(炎
道)へ入る空気量のバランスが取れ、二次燃焼部
(上部の白光炎)が円形に近似の形状になる。複
筒形の燃焼筒でも二次燃焼で白光炎を呈しない燃
焼筒では、多少の空気量にアンバランスがあつて
も影響は解からないが、白光炎方式で炎の形が崩
れることは燃焼量にも大きく影響するし、見た目
にも良くないので、改良に苦心をしたが、この考
案の如く制御板5の外縁を単なる円形でなく第3
図に示す如く、クロスピン7の上部を内方に突き
出して間隙aを狭くすることにより問題点を解決
したのである。猶クロスピン7の上部へ入る空気
量を制御するため第4図に示す如き方法もある。
即ち外縁全周に透孔6を設け、この透孔6をクロ
スピン7の上部だけ1〜2個飛ばすか、小透孔に
して空気量を制御することも考えられる。要する
にクロスピン7の上部で、中・内筒1,2の間隙
へ入る空気量を出来るだけ全周にバランス良くす
ることが、この種二次燃焼(白光炎)の燃焼筒に
は必須の要件であり、本案は簡単な構造で安価に
