送しつつ所要の処理を行う紙葉類処理装置であって、形
状の異なる紙葉類に対応した異なる形状の挿入口を連通
状態に設けた紙葉類挿入部と、この紙葉類挿入部に挿入
される紙葉類の形状を判別する判別手段と、この判別手
段の判別結果に基き形状の異なる紙葉類毎にそれぞれ異
なる情報処理を行う情報処理手段とを有することを特徴
