Abstract

PURPOSE:To make air-conditioning attainable with inexpensive arrangements by attaching a thermo-module consisting of a Peltier effect element and a heat conductive plate on an outer surface of a tank wall, connecting it to a heat exchanger installed in an inner surface of the tank, and energizing it with a DC current. CONSTITUTION:A thermo-module 20 provided with each heat conductive plate on both sides of a Peltier effect element is attached to on outer surface of a wall of a tank 18 for a water closet, and a fan 24 is installed on the outer surface. Likewise a heat exchanger 22 is installed in the tank 18, connecting it to an inner surface of the thermo-module 20. Next, when the thermo-module 20 is energized with a DC current, the heat conductive plate on one hand generates heat and the plate on the other absorbs this heat. In succession, when a current-energizating direction is reversed, the heating side and the heat absorbing side are therefore inverted. Since an inner side of the thermo-module 20 is subjected to heat exchange with water 16 in the tank 18, the outer side is heated or cooled, so that hot air or cold air is delivered out of the fan 24.
