It is a compound device body that is large enough to be installed inside a car's dash board, and the front opening has a
As shown in FIG. 1, the upper part includes an insertion opening 2 for the cassette p, an opening/closing lid 3 that closes the insertion opening, and an FM/
An AM switching button 4, a playback characteristic switching button 5 for switching the playback characteristics when switching between metal tape and normal tape, and a slide knob 6 at the bottom for tape operations such as fast forwarding and ejecting.
An escutcheon 9 is installed in which a dial plate 8 having an indicator plate 7 and a dial plate 8 having an indicator piece 7 are respectively arranged on the front side.Furthermore, on the left and right positions of the front side of the compound device main body 1, a volume with a switch, a volume for program switching and a balance adjustment are installed. and a knob 11 for tuning and feeder adjustment, respectively. Reference numerals 12 and 13 are light emitting elements for auto-reverse program indicators provided close to the lower right and left positions of the cassette insertion opening 2, 12 corresponding to the tape normal running side and 13 corresponding to the tape reverse running side, respectively. 14 and 15 are the light emitting elements 1
A specific example of the electric control circuit is shown in FIG. As shown in Fig. 3 below, S1 detects the performance surface when the cassette is loaded and detects the playing surface when playing the A side.
The first switch turns OFF and turns ON when the B side is played. For example, a conductive foil is formed at a suitable location on the B side of the cassette, and when the cassette is loaded into the compound device with the cassette facing up, the conductive foil and It is constructed by providing a contact point that makes contact and conducts electricity. S2 is a second switch that detects the normal side and reverse side by auto-reverse and turns on when it is on the normal side and turns off when it switches to the reverse side.
In the state shown in FIG. 3, if the cassette p is loaded into the insertion port 2 of the composite device with the B side facing up, the first switch S1 is turned on. In this case, assuming that the tape player has been switched to the normal side by auto-reverse, the second switch S 2
is also turned on, and in this state, the first transistor whose base is connected to the first switch S1 side
The collector potential of Q 1 , that is, the potential at point A, is the voltage of the diode D 3 connected between this and the second switch S 2 .
When the second switch S2 is turned on, it is grounded and becomes a low potential, and the collector potential of the second transistor Q2 whose base is connected to the second switch S1 side, that is, the potential at the point R, is also the same as this. Diode D 4 connected between the first switch S 1 and the first switch S 1
Since it is grounded and has a low potential by turning ON,
The base potential of the transistor Q3 , whose emitter is connected to the light-emitting element 14 for A-side display and whose collector is connected to the operating power supply E, that is, the potential at point C, also becomes a low potential, and the third transistor Q3 is turned off. The light emitting element 14 does not emit light. On the other hand, since the third transistor Q3 is OFF, the fourth transistor whose emitter is connected to the light emitting element 15 for B-side display and whose base is connected to the collector of the third transistor Q3 via the diode D7 The base potential of Q4 , that is, the potential at two points becomes high, the fourth transistor Q4 turns on, and the light emitting element 15 for displaying the B side emits light, thereby detecting that the playing surface is the B side. can do.

とができる。 Furthermore, in the above state in which the cassette P is loaded into the multifunction device with the B side facing up, and the automatic reverse is switched to the reverse side, the first switch S 1 is ON and the second switch S 2 is ON.
OFF (in this state, the performance side of the tape is side A), so no current flows through diode D3 , and the potential at point A increases, and the potential at point B is either low or the potential at point C. becomes a high potential, the third transistor Q3 is turned on, and the light emitting element 14 for A-side display connected thereto emits light. On the other hand, since the potential at the two points becomes low potential and turns off, the light emitting element 15 for displaying the B side connected to this does not emit light, thereby detecting that the performance side is the A side. I can do it.

る。 Next, a case will be described in which the cassette p is loaded into the composite device with the A side facing up. In this case, the first switch S1 is turned off. Assuming that the tape player has been switched to the normal side by auto-reverse, the second switch S2 is
In this state, the potential at point A is low and no current flows through diode D2 connected to the collector of the second transistor Q2 , and no current flows through diode D4 either, so points B and C The potentials of both become high, the third transistor Q3 is turned on, and the light emitting element 14 for A-side display emits light. On the other hand, the base potential of the fourth transistor Q4 , that is, the potential at two points, becomes low, so the transistor Q4 is turned off.
The light emitting element 15 connected to this for displaying the B side does not emit light, and therefore it is possible to detect that the performance side of the tape is the A side. Furthermore, in the above, assuming that the tape player is switched to the reverse side by auto-reverse, the second switch S2 is turned OFF (in this state, the playing side of the tape is the B side), and the first and second switches are turned OFF. together
Since the state is OFF, both the first and second transistors Q 1 and Q 2 are turned ON, and the diode
Current flows through the diode D 1 connected to D 2 and the collector of the first transistor Q 1 , and the potentials at points A and B become low, and therefore the potential at point C also becomes low. 3 is OFF
Therefore, the A-side light emitting element 14 connected to this does not emit light. On the other hand, the fourth transistor Q 4
A resistor connected between the base of and the operating power source E
Since the potential at point C becomes high due to R10 and diode D7 , the transistor Q4 is turned on, and the B side light emitting element 15 connected to it emits light, so that the playing surface is the B side. can be detected.

It has the advantage that it can be easily detected from the outside whether the performance surface is A side or B side by the light emitted from the light emitting element, and it is extremely convenient to use and handle.
