(Prior Art) A conventional water heater has, for example, a water heater A equipped with a safety valve a, a hot water mixing tap B consisting of a hot water valve 1 and a water valve 2, as shown in FIG. 1, and a gas supply pipe C is connected to the water heater A. A, the water supply pipe D connects the water supply source 4 to the water valve 2 of the hot water mixing faucet B or the water heater A via the stop valve 5, check valve 3, or check valve 3', and the water supply pipe E connects to the water heater A. The check valves 3 and 3', which are connected to the hot water valve 1 of the hot water mixing faucet B through the safety valve a in A, and which are installed in the water supply pipe D of the water heater F, are generally shown in FIG. The one shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 1175-1983 is used.

To explain what is shown in FIG. 2, a flow path 8 connecting an inlet 6 and an outlet 7 is formed by a valve seat 10 integrally formed with a valve cylinder 9, which connects a primary side 8a and a secondary side 8b.
and a valve body 11 corresponding to the valve seat 10.
is arranged on the secondary side 8b and is constantly pressed toward the valve seat 10 by a spring 14 loaded between the back surface 12 and the connecting fitting 13.

Therefore, when water is not flowing, the valve body 11 is seated on the valve seat 10, and if the pressure on the secondary side 8b increases in this state, the valve body 11 remains in contact with the valve seat 10. This seals the secondary flow path 8b and prevents the rising pressure from escaping.

Therefore, when the water valve 2 of the hot water mixing faucet B is closed and only hot water is discharged, the water in the water supply pipe D 1 flow path between the water valve 2 and the check valve 3 is warmed by the heat, and the heat of this water is The pressure increases due to the expansion, and this increased pressure may cause the water valve 2 and the water supply pipe D1 to burst, or their connections may come loose and cause water leakage.

Also, even if both hot water valves 1 and 2 are opened and mixed water is used, both valves 1 and 2 are closed, water heater A
Due to the preheating, the water in the water supply pipe D 2 flow path between water heater A and check valve 3' is also warmed and thermally expanded, and the pressure in the flow path increases, causing water heater A and water heater A and check valve 3' to heat up. The water supply pipe D2 to 3' may rupture, or these connections may come loose and cause water leakage.

Generally, a safety valve a is installed inside the water heater A, and when the pressure inside the water heater A becomes high, the drain is released to release the pressure. The water pressure is set higher than the water pressure of the water supply.

Therefore, when the pressure increased by preheating exceeds the set pressure of safety valve a, safety valve a is activated and water is wastefully discharged as drain.

On the other hand, even if the rising pressure is small and lower than the set pressure of the safety valve a, it is higher than the water pressure of the tap water, and there are problems such as the pressure being applied to the water heater A until the water heater A cools down.

(Means for solving the problem) The technical measures taken to solve this technical problem are that the inflow side of the water heater is piped to the water supply source via a check valve, and the outflow side is piped to a hot water valve. In the water heater, the check valve includes a primary side port communicating with the hot water source, a secondary side port communicating with the water heater, a valve cylinder having a valve seat provided between the two ports, and a valve cylinder having a valve seat provided between the two ports. A support body correspondingly constitutes a check valve and has a cylindrical part on the back side, and a spindle which is screwed into the inside of the valve cylinder and is movably adjusted so as to be able to move toward and away from the cylindrical part of the support body from the back side. , a piston that is installed in a cylindrical part of the support body in a watertight manner and slidably only toward the primary side and forms a compression chamber together with the support body; It is equipped with a drag spring that presses the support body in the valve closing direction, a valve closing spring that presses the support body in the valve closing direction, and a small hole that communicates the compression chamber and the primary side.

(Function) When the water in the secondary flow path of the check valve thermally expands, the pressure rise causes the piston to slide inside the cylindrical portion of the support body toward the primary side, thereby preventing the non-return valve. Since the volume of the secondary flow path within the valve is increased, the increase in pressure in the secondary flow path can be reduced and damage to equipment can be prevented.

Furthermore, when the spindle is rotated, the spindle advances and retreats with respect to the cylindrical part of the support body, and the distance between them changes, and the repulsive force of the drag spring increases and decreases accordingly, causing the check valve to move forward and backward. Working pressure is adjusted.

Furthermore, when the spindle is brought into contact with the cylindrical portion of the support, movement of the support is regulated and water is stopped.

Conventional water heaters required a safety valve, but in the present invention, when the pressure in the secondary flow path increases, the check valve increases the volume of the secondary flow path by moving the piston. to absorb the pressure increase,
Since it has the function of a so-called safety valve, there is no need for a safety valve, which has a great economic effect.

By adjusting the rotation of the spindle, the operating pressure of the check valve can be adjusted, and by moving the spindle until it comes into contact with the support, the check valve can be fixed and water can be stopped.

To explain the operation, when water is about to flow from the primary side 8a to the secondary side 8b, the support body 21 on which the valve body 11 and the piston 22 are attached closes the inside of the spindle 20 due to the water pressure on the primary side. The valve body 11 slides against the pressure of the valve spring 23, and the valve body 11 is moved against the valve seat 10.
Further apart, water flows from the primary side 8a towards the secondary side 8b. That is, the piston 22 is prevented from coming off by the retaining ring 28 provided on the support 21, and is also pressed against the retaining ring 28 by the drag spring 24, which is stronger than the valve closing spring 23. works integrally with
When the flow of water from the primary side 8a to the secondary side 8b stops, the piston 22 is moved to the support body 2 by the valve closing spring 23.

When the pressure on the secondary side 8b rises above the pressure on the primary side due to thermal expansion or the like, the pressure in the pressure chamber 27 also rises because the pressure chamber 27 is connected to the secondary side 8b. This pressure increase in the pressure chamber 27 pushes the piston 22 against the elastic force of the drag spring 24, and pushes out the water in the compression chamber 26 from the small hole 25 to the primary side 8a.
As the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 21b slides toward the primary side 8a and the volume of the pressure chamber 27 is expanded, the volume of the secondary side 8b increases, and the pressure on the secondary side 8b increases. can be made smaller.

Further, a screw is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 20b of the spindle 20, and is attached to the valve seat 10 of the valve cylinder 9 so as to be able to move forward and backward. By adjusting the distance from the end of the shaped portion 21b, the repulsive force of the valve closing spring 24 is changed, and the operating pressure of the valve body 11 is adjusted.

Further, when the spindle 20 is moved until it comes into contact with the back side of the support body 21, the support body 21 is fixed in the seated state. Therefore, the check valve also has the function of a water stop valve.
