Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は例えば競馬レースゲーム機のように、
あらかじめ提示された入賞結果のいずれかを投票
対象として選択し、ゲームする遊戯機の制御装置
に関する。
第１図を参照して従来装置の一構成例を説明す
る。第１図は８種類の入賞結果のいずれかを投票
対象として選択する競馬レースゲーム機の制御装
置の構成を示すブロツク図である。投票対象の選
択は入力装置１を遊技者が操作することにより行
ない、そのデータは第１のメモリ２に保持され
る。第２のメモリ３には払い戻し配当スケジユー
ルが記憶されており、必要に応じて判定処理回路
４に読み取られる。表示器コントローラ５は第２
のメモリ３に記憶されている払い戻し配当スケジ
ユールを判定処理回路４を介して読み出し、表示
器６において払い戻し配当率を入賞結果ごとに表
示する。判定処理回路４は、第１のメモリ２に保
持されている投票対象と遊技機の本体から与えら
れるゲーム結果のデータとにもとづいて、プレー
されたそのゲームの結果が当りであるか否かを判
定する。そして、当りであるときには第２のメモ
リ３に記憶されている払い戻し配当スケジユール
にもとづいて出力装置７よりコイン等を払い戻
す。
このように従来装置は単一の払い戻し配当スケ
ジユールにもとづいてコイン等の払い戻しを行な
つているため、短期的、中期的には遊戯機が勝ち
すぎたりあるいは逆にプレーヤーが勝ちすぎたり
することがある。すなわち、その遊戯機を設置し
てからある程度の時間が経過し、数多くのプレー
ヤーによつてゲームが繰り返し実行されたときは
コイン等の払い戻し実績の平均は所定の配当率に
収束し、遊戯機の所有者（客に対し遊技機を提供
しプレーさせる者）に一定の利益を保障する。と
ころが遊戯機を設置した当初、あるいは実行され
たゲーム数が少ないときにはコインの払い戻し実
績の平均が所定の配当率から大きくはずれ、遊戯
機の所有者に損失を与えたり、プレーヤの楽しみ
を著しく損つたりすることがある。
ところで、遊戯機の所有者に対し、短期的、中
期的にも一定の利益を保障するための手段として
は、当該遊戯機を設置してから払い戻し実績に応
じて大きな当りの出る確率を変えたり、あるいは
プレーヤーの投票結果に対して当りが出ないよう
に操作するものがある。前者の手段は、例えば払
い戻し率が３、５、７、10、20、40倍の６種類の
投票対象についてゲームする場合に、倍率が20、
40の投票対象について当りの出る確率を従前の半
分とし、これによつて遊戯機の所有者に一定の利
益を確保させようとするものである。後者の手段
は、例えばＡ、Ｂ、Ｃ、Ｄ、Ｅ、Ｆ、の６種類の
投票対象についてゲームする場合に、プレーヤー
がＢに投票したときはＢが当りになる確率を以前
の半分とし、これによつて遊戯機の所有者に一定
の利益を確保させようとする。しかし、これらの
手段はいずれも遊戯機の公正な運営、公正なルー
ルに反する。
本発明は上述の点に鑑みてなされたもので、公
正なルールによつて運営され、かつ短期的、中期
的に遊戯機の所有者に損失を与えたりプレーヤー
の楽しみを損つたりすることのない遊戯機の制御
装置を提供することを目的とする。
上述の目的を実現するため本発明は、従来装置
に複数の払い戻し配当スケジユールを記憶するメ
モリと払い戻し実績の合計を記憶するメモリとを
設け、その遊戯機における従前の払い戻し実績に
応じていずれかの払い戻しスケジユールを選択す
ることのできる遊戯機の制御装置を提供するもの
である。
第２図および第３図を参照して本発明の一実施
例を説明する。第２図は本発明の一実施例のブロ
ツク図で、第１図と同一の要素は同一の符号で示
す。第２のメモリ３には４種類の払い戻し配当ス
ケジユールS1，S2，S3，S4を記憶させ、判定処理
回路４によつて必要に応じて読み出せるようにす
る。また、従前の払い戻し実績の合計を記憶する
第３のメモリ８を設ける。
第３図を参照して第２図に示す一実施例の動作
を説明する。第３図は第２図に示す第２のメモリ
３の記憶内容を説明する図である。払い戻し配当
スケジユールにはS1〜S4の４種類があり、投票対
象となりうるのは１〜８の８種類であるとし、通
常はスケジユールS2が選択されているものとす
る。
プレーヤーが投票対象を選択する前に、まずス
ケジユールS2にもとづいて払い戻し率が表示器６
で表示される。このとき、表示される払い戻し率
はそれぞれ10、５、８、60、25、３、15、５であ
る。次にプレーヤーはいずれかの投票対象を選択
し、入力装置１によつてそれを指定する。ゲーム
の結果、それが当りであるときは表示されている
払い戻し率に応じてコイン等が払い出される。払
い戻し実績は従前の実績と加算され、第３のメモ
リ８に記憶される。
上記の如き一連のゲームが繰り返された後に、
第３のメモリ８に記憶された払い出し実績が所定
の配当率に対して誤差を生じているときは、その
誤差に応じた払い戻し配当スケジユールが選択さ
れる。例えば、遊戯機が大勝ちしてプレーヤーに
与える楽しみが少なくなつているときは、スケジ
ユールS4が選択される。スケジユールS4の払い戻
し配当率はスケジユールS2の払い戻し配当率に対
して高くなつており、かつその払い戻し率は投票
する前に表示器６で表示されているので、プレー
ヤーの期待感はそれだけ大きくなる。
なお、第２図に示す実施例において、第１、第
２および第３のメモリは専用のROM（Read only
memory）等によつて構成することができるし、
またこれらと判定処理回路とをマイクロコンピユ
ータによつて一体的に構成することもできる。
また払い戻し配当スケジユールの選択にあたつ
ては、乱数によつて選択するスケジユールを変化
させることも可能である。
上述の如く本発明によれば、従来装置の複数の
払い戻し配当スケジユールを記憶するメモリと、
従前の払い戻し配当実績の合計を記憶するメモリ
とを設けたので、払い戻しの実績に応じて適用す
る払い戻し配当スケジユールを変更させる（セミ
フローテイング オツズシステム）ことができ、
短期的、中期的に遊戯機の所有者に損失を与えた
りプレーヤーの楽しみを奪つたりすることのない
遊戯機の制御装置が得られる。また、本発明は、
従前の払い戻し実績にもとづいて適用する払い戻
し配当スケジユールを変更させ、かつプレーヤー
が投票対象を選択する前にそれを表示させる方式
にもとづくものなので、遊戯機の公正な運営、公
正なルールにかなつたものである。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ ｍ種類（ｍは２以上の自然数）の入賞結果の
    いずれかを投票対象として選択し、選択された投
    票対象が当りであるときは所定の払い戻し配当ス
    ケジユールにもとづいてコイン等の景品の払い戻
    しをする遊戯機の制御装置において、 外部から入力された前記投票対象を選択するた
    めのデータを保持する第１のメモリと、前記払い
    戻し配当スケジユールをｎ組（ｎは２以上の自然
    数）記憶する第２のメモリと、この遊戯機におけ
    るコイン等の景品の払い戻し実績の合計を記憶す
    る第３のメモリと、前記第３のメモリに記憶され
    た従前の払い戻し実績の合計にもとづいて前記第
    ２のメモリからいずれかの払い戻し配当スケジユ
    ールを選択する手段と、選択された前記払い戻し
    配当スケジユールにもとづいて前記ｍ種類の入賞
    結果のそれぞれについての払い戻し配当率を表示
    する表示器と、前記第１のメモリに保持されたデ
    ータに対応する前記投票対象が当りであるときは
    選択された前記払い戻し配当スケジユールにもと
    づいてコイン等の景品の払い戻しをする出力装置
    とを備える遊戯機の制御装置。
